This is not "free" breakfast. They offer the option in all their flights, so they serve it before starting with the inflight service. But yes, It's very nice that they offer the service also on short flights. Tomorrow I'm flying to Munich again on a Dash8 and I have already booked my breakfast :D

Absolutely! The best breakfast on a European flight. As you say, far bettet than the one in business class. Arrrrggg those points in ZRH buses! Always the same! Today im there again. I will be flying from London in the SWISS A340 😊✈

Hahaha Actually, I've flown 4 times with Austrian since the lockdown. We still have 3 more breakfasts to be seen on the channel in the next months hehe I think travel restrictions proved to not be effective... I think the best example of this is the UK: there were quarantine rules to almost every country and cases are spiking the same (or even worst in some cases) as in all other European countries... In my opinion, this should be enough to ease the travelling restrictions and focus more on the social gathering. I think the main problem is there and not travelling. Let's see...

@@OnBoardHD agreed. Am not holding out much hope for my trip to Prague at the end of January as the Czech republic is currently the highest country in Europe for new cases and have just embarked on a 4 week lockdown. We shall see..in the meantime you just keep on enjoying your breakfasts in the sky and making me drool. Hahaha!!!

@@stpf10 Luckily, I've recorded lots of flights during these summer months, so in case of a new full lockdown, we'll have enough videos for several months to come. I have some flights to record in November, very interesting ones to be honest, as they include Transavia and Jet2, but even if I can't record them, it won't be critical at all for the channel. Hope the other Trip Report channels on KZfaq did the same... I've seen already many of them closing =(( That's not good for anybody...

I know about the runway, it was a mistake during edition. The operative ceiling of this plane is 27.000 ft. AMSL.

@@OnBoardHD 27000ft is correct, but only if oxygen system is installed, which nearly no operator bought. Working as technician on this beauty 😜

De hecho, en mi opinión, es mejor que cualquier desayuno que de ninguna Europea en business class. Es mejor que el desayuno que dan en Business class la propia Austrian... Por ahora Canarias no está en mis planes. Bueno, no Canarias, sino España en general, por las enormes restricciones que hay para volver a otros países. Supongo que estas restricciones, que ya han demostrado que no sirven para nada, se irán levntando un poco en Noviembre y espero poder tener más opciones ahí. Saludos

La comida se le entrega a los pasajeros que la hayan *pagado* en la web, como máximo 24 horas antes de la salida. No es algo que puedas comprar a bordo. Son platos perecederos cocinados horas antes del vuelo. Sólo se hacen "por encargo". Saludos

On the video clrarly says pre-ordered on the website. That means that yoy buy it before the flight.

With the plane registrations and then FR24. And also with the airport info screens. When it's a small airport that I know, I don't need to check anything. Cheers!

First thing you should understand is that you have to pay for everything. If any airline gives you anything onboard is because or you pay it at the moment fr because you paid it already with the ticket price. And yes, this breakfast is epic. You won't see such breakfast in any other European flight.
