~TRIP REPORT ~ First time on Asiana Airlines and we fly from Frankfurt Germany to Seoul Korea.

THE RETIRED COUPLE TRAVELS THE WORLD

Today we fly with Asiana Airlines from Frankfurt FRA Germany to Incheon International Airport ICN Seoul Korea. We start our journey flying from Copenhagen Denmark to Frankfurt (it's not reviewed in this report). It is the first time we fly with Asiana Airlines After two hours stop in Incheon, we continue to Tokyo and this flight too is with Asiana.
We fly in Economy Class and today's aircraft is an Airbus 350

I’ll be retiring next year and traveling will be a big part of it. I see you seem to be on Star alliance . Did you just lay out where you wanted to go and use a search engine to book multi city itineraries ? I’m looking to get gold first on Aegean and go from there . Any booking tips ?

We are member in the SAS Eurobonus loyalty program and yes SAS is a member of Star Alliance but only until the end of August when they change to SkyTeam. We often pay our tickets with Eurobonus points that we have have earned from on both traveling and by consumption. SAS has a collaboration with American Express and Master Card so you are able to earn more points. This trip with Asiana was paid with Eurobonus points so it did not cost us so much. On the SAS site you can search for award trips covering all the Star Alliance members so this is what we did and found ASIANA. An advice is to look for ways how to earn mileage or loyalty points to finance your trips. As I mentioned before, we use beside SAS, Amex and MasterCard but so some also car rental companies like AVIS and Sixt that gives us extra point for our trips.

hi whats up. Did you check in a bag on this flight? Were they strict with the weight> How would you rate the flight from one to ten you check in a bag on this flight?

Our checked luggage was within the weight limit so no problem with that. They did not weigh or measure our hand luggage. I have a lot of camera gear for bird photography and with a bit overweight but no problem today. Usually, my camera bag gives the staff at the security control a field day when I arrive:>)
