Trip Report Lisbon (LIS) to São Paulo (GRU) on Board TAP Air Portugal's A330-900neo

due to a delay of my inbound flight I was put on a later flight to São Paulo. Luckily this flight was operated by one of their three Airbus A330-900neos (at the time I took the flight).
The aircraft was extremely quiet which I already noticed right after both engines were running. The cabin layout and the entire design is really modern.
What I have to criticize though is that the lavatories were not cleaned during the flight. In order to compete with larger flagship carriers in Europe TAP should change that.
Besides the lavatories I was really impressed by TAP's product and can definitely recommend flying on board of one of their long-haul aircraft.

The flight was incredibly amazing. TAP A330neo looks fantastic, and I hope I can have a chance to fly with A330neo in the future. Also the flight services, it looks really great

The A330neo sounds amazingly quiet, hoped you managed to sleep well during the flight :D It seems like a nice touch for TAP to offer metal cultlery even in Economy Class! :D

good and complete trip report. If the lavatories were dirty in the end of the flight it's because passengers are dirty and don't know how to preserve things...in the begining you said they were nice and very clean....don't forget the cleaning team only exists in the airports not inside the planes during the flights.

On board of some airlines the crew cleans the lavatories throughout the flight. This would certainly make a big difference.

What was the cabin pressure/humidity like? I can't seem to find out of Airbus improved this for the neo.

Humidity was not improved, I’m not sure about the cabin pressure.

We did get a refund. We can use it on a future flight with the airline. We were supposed to go from Boston to Lisbon.

It's like a premium economy. Compared to the normal economy seats those seats feature a better legroom.
