Hello everyone and welcome back to a new trip report!
On February 1st, I had the amazing opportunity to be one of the few hundred people to try out Porter's brand new E2 aircraft on one of their two inaugural flights that day. Since the Ottawa flight departed about 20 minutes ahead of us, this was the second ever Porter E2 flight, and the second commercial E2 flight in North America!

Was on this flight, 26A…my white hair can be seen in your shot waiting for drinks/snacks to reach you. Hope they’ve learned to run two carts, one at the front the other starting from mid-way down the plane! Same happened on the return flight…and on both afternoon YOW flights I took that day.

je souhaite bonne chance a Porter Airlines avec ses nouvelles routes et j'espère aussi qu'un jour il y aura des B787 et des A350 ou A321 néo pour faire de la concurrence aux autres, car nous en avons besoin .

Plane is very silent. Embraer invested a lot of money in removing noise from the fuselage by 6%.
