They lock them during take off and landing Due to safety reasons windows should be clear during critical times

That I understand on take off and landing, but not at cruising altitude after you have been served a meal westward from Europe. My guess is that was a subtle hint to go to sleep and don’t ask for things.

@@talal-alqahtani they said it will be owned by PIF and PIF is involved in many big deals and investments. I think it will turn like Etihad & Emirates. That's good for competition and that can force Saudia to be better and other airlines at the region. What i heard is also Crown Prince is involved in this airline and that's big push for the new airline to be 2nd flag carrier for Saudi Arabia.

@@airtravelaviation491 competition is good for us as travelholics you know. Saudi Arabia have very good transit Potential in JED & RUH but they didn't utilize it and work on it. But they are working towards improving Aviation nowadays and that's why they said they will make new big airline.

I haven’t visited Riyadh airport ever but Jeddah airport I disagree with you. Actually, Jeddah has two airports one is old and dull as you said and another which is the new one is amazing and modern. The new airport in Jeddah has been opened 1-2 years ago.

Airports have nothing to do with Saudia. The airports are owned by GACA not by Saudia. Saudia just like any other operating airlines
