Come join me on this special day as Southwest Airlines has its first-ever scheduled flight out of Syracuse, NY (SYR). The city and region have been waiting for a long time for this day and it is finally here. Lots of speeches, flight attendant banter on board, and an overall great atmosphere... ENJOY!!

@@GerardiAviation I doubt you did. Still, I made it a point to be out there to watch the first Southwest flight in and out of Syracuse. Hopefully I can be there when the first flights for Breeze Airlines come in.

You think they would have a least sent a plane with the new livery on it, not one with a 15 yr old paint job. But at least it had that spacial decal on it.

Right, that’s what I was thinking. But the special decal was of one of their founders so it kinda makes sense
