@TheLayoverAviation2 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot for the comment and the info! So regarding the spoilers, I don’t refer to the flight control check. All planes do that and the spoilers raise. What I mean is that when the engines start on pushback all the spoilers raise just a little. Maybe your dad will know why..🤷🏻♂️ You can see what I mean at minute 05:43. My B787 pilot friend did never notice that. Thanks again and see you around!

@theGottowatch2 жыл бұрын
@@TheLayoverAviation Haha makes sense! I just thought you wouldn't be able to sense the rate of change when the aircraft becomes established on the glideslope since you would already be descending anyways and the difference in vertical speed would be negligible. I guess what I mean is there isn't a certain thing that happens as soon as the aircraft is established on the glideslope.

The "amateur way of eating" works for me. Why get messy, greasy fingers if you don't have to? That rich and filling flaky pastry thing didn't look like it had much filling. Do Etihad lock the window shading? That's one reason I don't fly on B787. I like your reports, they are well presented and the captioning is educational for those that are interested in commercial aircraft, travel by air and those of us that travel far and wide and are looking at which airlines to avoid. Well done, sir. ✈✈👍👍
@TheLayoverAviation2 жыл бұрын
Hey Tony, thanks for popping by. Etihad does not lock the blinds! So this was a big bonus as I’ve spend many day flights in darkness. I believe none of the Gulf airlines block blinds. Hi. I'm new to this channel. You have nice camera work but I personally dislike text as that forces me to read at your speed which spoils the experience as this video is 30 mins long meaning reading for 30 mins and missing a lot of what's going on in the video because I'm focused on speeding through the text before it disappears sometimes having to rewind because the text disappeared because I wasn't quick enough. It takes away from the viewing experience. Is it not possible for you to do voiceovers instead? Or you could just ignore my suggestion as I may be the only one with this issue ( I personally do not like reading especially on KZfaq). I like to watch and listen. Thanks for the otherwise very,,,, very,,,, (like really very) informative video. I learnt so much. Awesome stuff.
@TheLayoverAviation2 жыл бұрын
Hey! Thanks for watching. I am aware some people face this issue with the subtitles, and I had to make a choice of either sharing or not all the information. I chose more comments instead, as there is just a lot to share from my side. I grew up with subtitled tv so I can pretty much do both at the same time, I do however understand that others might have difficulties. If I were you, I would just ignore the comments then! I won’t be doing voice overs anytime soon, as what annoys me from other people is listening to their voices while I want to actually listen to the plane and environment. Greetings from Dubai!

Well, you can see for yourself! I guess it depends on every person and their needs/expectations. For me this was 10’s across the board! And I’m sure there is still much more to be shown.
