Vueling trip report onboard an Airbus A321 from Barcelona to Mallorca on a nice summer morning.
The route from Barcelona to Mallorca is operated by Vueling up to 12 times per day during the summer season, with a mix of Airbus A321 and A320, making it one of busiest routes from Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca airports.
It's such a short flight that, depending on the runway configuration in Mallorca, it might not have cruise stage: just climb and descent.

I flew on Vueling airlines last month from London to Barcelona and back. They were both great flights with smooth landings too. For anyone who is flying a short-haul flight, with barely any luggage, I would definitely recommend this airlines to you. 5 stars review from me... great work Vueling! Volé en las aerolíneas Vueling el mes pasado de Londres a Barcelona y de regreso. Ambos fueron grandes vuelos con aterrizajes suaves también. Para cualquiera que esté volando un vuelo de corta distancia, sin apenas equipaje, definitivamente le recomendaría esta aerolínea. Reseña mía de 5 estrellas... ¡buen trabajo Vueling!

Ayer vole por primera vez con un A-320neo por primera vez de Barcelona a Mikonos con Vueling. Se nota la diferencia con el a-320 normal, el ruido de motores la cabina las alas etc que maravilla

Fantastic Video as always, in answer to your short flight Question Easyjet fly from my home airport Newcastle (EGNT) to Belfast (EGAA) 291 KM and the flight is often under half an hour and also sometimes doesn't cruise. Keep up the great work, thank you

Durante el verano lo usan muchísimo en esta ruta. De hecho, creo que llega a haber hasta 10 frecuencia so más cada día entre Barcelona y Mallorca, siendo muchas de ellas en Airbus a321! Saludos!

Felicidades por el video! Como siempre un 10!...yo he volado varias veces con Vueling desde Valencia a Ibiza y a Mallorca, en A320, en cuanto al vuelo muy bien siempre, como tu comentas desde Valencia pasa igual, casi no hay crucero, viene a ser , ascenso y al minuto 1 descenso y cuando te das cuenta ya estás saliendo del avion hacia la terminal..bueno más o menos es asi, jajaja. En cuanto a Vueling , en general ningún problema, aunque las tripulaciones comparándola con Ryanair por ejemplo, son a mi modo de verlo un poco más...digamos ariscos, por lo menos es la experiencia mía desde Valencia, tampoco es que haga muchos vuelos con Vueling y claro está que en todos los sitios hay de todo.

DAVID LOPEZ Mi hija menor vino hace poco de Mahón a Barcelona en Vueling y encontró que la tripulación de cabina se portó bastante groseramente con pasajeros que, hablando inglés, les continuaban dando, en castellano, órdenes de como colocar el equipaje de mano. Hay detalles que deberían cuidar más.

@@josegranelcarreto5366 Totalmente de acuerdo. Precisamente en los detalles esta la importancia. Para mí vueling es una buena compañía y no quiero pensar diferente por que en algunos casos me haya cruzado con alguna tripulación un poco , quizas pecando de insolente, ya que en mi caso como antes mencionaba han sido vuelos desde Valencia y quizás eso quiera decir ,que las tripulaciones de la base de Valencia sean de esa forma en " en general " no digo que todos sean asi. Y que en otras bases de la compañía se encuentren otras tripulaciones más amables. Pero eso es como todo en la vida , es como si vas a u a gasolinera de una reconocida marca y te encuentras a un empleado super servicial y educado, pues te llevas una buena impresión sobre esa marca, de lo contrario, te vas otra gasolinera de la misma marca pero en otro lugar distinto y te encuentras a un empleado totalmente diferente, maleducado y grosero pues a la primera de cambio la imagen de esa empresa , te puedes imaginar cómo es....eso es un poco lo que pienso que sucede con Vueling , como en cualquier otra línea aérea, gasolinera supermercado o lugar del mundo.

Yo la verdad es que siempre que he volado tanto con Ryanair como con Vueling (y lo he hecho bastantes veces con cada una jaja) siempre he tenido buenas experienias con las tripulaciones. Siempre han sido muy amable conmigo. De hecho alguna vez me han reconocido ya por los ´videos jajaja Saludos y feliz domingo! :)

Atendiendo tu petición de comentar sugerencias, se me ocurre un vuelo en ala delta, con fly Emirates, despegando desde el motor 3 de un Airbus 380. Eso si, en clase turista, ya que hay espacio suficiente entre los motores. 😜

You should try to fly Enter Air, it is a mostly charter airline but is possible to book tickets on a few routes, do recommend them

Buen vídeo, como siempre. Gracias por volver a elegir mi ciudad de nacimiento. Muchos vuelos tienen que ser abordados y desembarcados en autobús. Buen despegue: ya vi que rotaría antes de cruzar delante de la 02. La última vez que fui a Mallorca era de noche, y al un momento de despegar, vimos una luz intermitente. Pensé que sería un barco: era ya el faro de cabo Formentor😄😄 ¿cual fue la altura de crucero? Mi hija fue hace poco BCN-MAH y fue de 19000 pies. Saludos

Muchas gracias, José!! Me alegra que te haya gustado! :) Pues la verdad es que no recuerdo cual fue la altitud de crucero. Pero sí, como bien dices, lo normal (si no hay nada raro de nubes a esa altitud) es entre 17.000 y 21.000 pies. Por cierto! El próximo sábado estrenamos aerolínea en el canal! Turkish Airlines! Y muy pronto vídeo en el A346 de Iberia, B787 de Air Europa y B717 de Volotea! Saludos! :)

Brilliant flight report Lucas.Flying with Vuelling must be feeling like being home.By the way, which Spanish airline do you prefer ?When I flew from Athens to Barcelona in 2010 Vuelling was not a well known airline and we were a bit uncomfortable with this flight but today is a nice choice for passengers.Lucas I would like to ask your opinion for a trip.I want to visit with my wife the most beautiful city in Spain except Barcelona and Madrid.Which one would you suggest?I appreciate your opinion my friend.Thanks in advance.Cheers

Thanks so much, Yannis! Glad that you've enjoyed it! :) As the most comfortable Spanish airline to fly in Europe I would choose Air Europa when they use the B787 and A330 on that route! hehe About what to visit in Spain, I would say it depends on the season you'll be travelling, as it can be rainy or really hot, depending on that. If you want to go in Autumn-Winter, anything on the south can be very nice. I would definitely be visiting 1 or 2 cities if you are planning a more than 3 days trip: Seville and Granada are great options in the south. Another good option could be in the north Bilbao and San Sebastian (everybody told me that this last one is really beautiful). And, of course, I have to recommend my hometown: Santiago de Compostela, though it can be very rainy during winter. I think it's a better destination for spring-summer. Valencia can be a nice place to visit as well. Sometimes there's such nice weather that people can go to the beach in Autumn hehe If you want something completely different, then Tenerife (in the Canary Islands) has some nice things to visit, like the Teide volcano, for example. Me encanta Palma de Mallorca, muy buen trip report, iré durante los primeros días a Palma volando desde Viena en Eurowings asi que estoy muy emocionado por eso. Crees que podrías hacer esa misma ruta en Eurowings?. Que hermosa es la app a la isla, muy bonita geografía sobretodo la Sierra de Tramuntana. Son comodos los Airbus de vueling?, me contaron que son como los Airbus A320 neo de nuestra linea aerea de Chile Sky Airline, que no se pueden reclinar. Saludos desde las secas tierras de Santiago de Chile.

Incluso en este vídeo que parece estar funcionando más o menos bien... tiene bastantes menos que los vídeos que he subido este mes. De todos modos, últimamente no me coincide mucho ir por Barcelona últimamente. A ver si hacia Otoño.. Saludos! :)

Oh I wasn’t criticising your video, I love them :). I mean, I fly VY often and they always annoy me! Just too much automised announcements all the time! Actually takes away a bit of personality of the flight or different crews.

Se puede utilizar el móvil siempre y que esté en modo avión. Esta opción te permite hacer cualquier cosa que no necesite cobertura. Por otro lado, hay aerolíneas que tienen Wifi y no hay problema, pero que yo recuerde de momento Vueling no lo tiene en sus aviones.

@@joe755 Todo lo que ha dicho Tania es totalmente correcto. Respecto al internet, si el avión no tiene Wifi, por mucho que quitases el modo avión cuando el avión va en crucero, no tendrías cobertura. La cobertura de los móviles está diseñada para tener señal en tierra, no en el aire. Saludos! :)

Vueling no está mal, pero no tiene nada que ver con verdaderas operaciones low-cost y sus precios y la estrategia de marketing lo demuestran. Los únicos verdaderos low-cost que conozco son Ryanair, easyJet y Pegasus (Turquía). Lo que más me encanta de El Prat es su divertida esquema de despegue de 25L con ésos giros tan emblemáticos

Alex Deas Son para evitar el ruido sobre la población. Al construirse la pista 25L-07R, se pusieron los ayuntamientos de Viladecans, Gavá y Castelldefels a pedir que se minimizase el impacto ambiental. Por eso giran hacia el mar al despegar por la 25R y se aterriza por la 02 a partir de las 11 de la noche

@@josegranelcarreto5366 Gracias, me lo imaginaba así ;) la verdad que mola un montón despegar de allí, son 2 o 3 giras seguidas (dependiendo de SID) o lo más divertido es despegue con el gradiente alto para realizar estas maniobras sin perder la velocidad vertical, una pasada aún que para algunos a lo mejor puede dar un poco de susto

Pues la verdad es que estoy totalmente de acuerdo contigo en cuanto a los precios de las aerolíneas. De hecho, hace unos años Vueling comenzó a decir que no eran una aerolíne low-cost sino una aerolíena con smart-prices jaja En esa lista de verdaders low-cost incuiría Wizzair sin duda. Pero poco más. Saludos!

As Tania said, Mallorca is an island, and by boat, it can take you up to 7 hours and a half, while by plane is just 30 minutes. :)
