Nowadays you need extraordinary computer power for watching 8K 360° videos. If you have troubles with watching such videos, choose 4K or HD quality in the settings of your KZfaq player. We hope that KZfaq will find a solution for optimization this videoformat to make it watchable for common users.
Also here is the answer for a frequently asked question about true resolution of an 8K 360° video. Unlike standard videos, in a 360° video you can see only a part of original image (approximately 30 degrees out of 360). As result, the real resolution of the part you can see isn't bigger than 1.3K.

Fantastic Arial footage! I've been to Tokyo almost 20 years ago. Time flies. Anywho, this gives me a great view where everything was in relation to each other. Very cool! While 8K is pretty great, I can't wait for even better resolution in the future so we can experience this type of stuff even more immersively. What is the soothing music use though? I love it!!

It's great.Would have been better if it had 12K resolution like the trailer. Tokyo is spread out very far, so the detailed city lights in the distance would have been clearly visible.

Thank you very much for your comment! Welcome to our channel 🙌 If you watch from a phone, please check your settings and internet speed. By default, the player puts 720. If you select high quality, then it will put 1440. And 2160 can only be selected if you click on "Other-select resolution". You should watch it on google chrome. For good quality you need a good internet. If the Internet is weak, then KZfaq will not allow you to select high quality.

Hello, the video has forward direction, the main scene. to the right or left of it. it's also how you walk and look ahead but turn your head left/right

youtube only offers 4k on this, but the title says 8k. Other youtube videos I am coming across are offering 8k. Whats up with this one? (I did notice 8k (on other videos) is only offered on my desktop with a RTX3080 and not on my desktop with an intel integrated GPU, but this one isnt offering it on either)

Yes, we see the same. Unfortunately, sometimes KZfaq limits, we do not know the reason. We upload to the KZfaq server in the specified resolution.

Thank you 🙏 KZfaq unfortunately supports a maximum of 8K. And in different countries it limits it differently, we don’t know the reason. To watch in maximum resolution, you need to watch on a large computer, access via Google Chrome, have stable good internet.

The Quest3 default browser displays an 8K selection, but my PC shows maximum of 4K. I attempted to resolve this by installing the "AV1 Video Extension" and "VP9 Video Extensions" from the Microsoft Store, but the selection still did not appear. I suspect the issue might be related to the VP09 codec used in the video. Another video titled "Elton Lake" works perfectly, 8K selection is visible, and it use AV01 codec. :)

Ok.. I found answer.. This is because this 8k video is a 3d SBS(side by side) video, which means the left part is 4k and the right part is 4k too. But since you are in PC monitor mode(mono mode), so only one side(4K) is available.

Upload to KZfaq server in 8k resolution. Unfortunately sometimes KZfaq restricts, we don't know the reason. In different countries in different ways. Uploaded to KZfaq server in 8K resolution.🤷‍♂️
