Finding campsites during school holidays can be hard.....
In this episode we find some great low cost camps in the sunshine coast Hinterland before heading North to the Fraser Coast to hit some warm weather.
Finding camps like this on your own travels can be a great way to extend your travel budget and keep you on the road for longer. They are also a great way to get some space, rather than being cooped up in caravan parks.
Some good fun had chilling out for a few weeks with some campfires and cooking on the weber. Let me know your favourite recipe for the Weber...

In December 2015 we packed up and hit the road for what we thought would be a 12 month Lap of Oz. Fast forward 4 years and we decided to create a video series of our travels to show you all what it’s like to live life on the road!!

Some good bush camps there agree about caravan parks we are camped at Wooramel river retreat for a couple of nights doesn’t get any better the night sky is unbelievable cheers

Here in the U.K. I expect to see you jumping over snakes, fighting off spiders, but your children just jump out the van without a care! Even I had to stand still for a snake when I visited your beautiful country back in November 19. I was so excited to see one.. bloody huge it was. Good tunes you play too btw! Great work mate. Trick at kumbak in winter is the other side of the creek. Get morning sun to warm up . West side stays in the shade till late morning

Ive only ever free camped my whole life. Went to visit my sister in a caravan park a few weeks ago and i did not like it at all! Felt like a library, always trying to keep my kids volume down and it was PACKED 😣 I will definitely stick to free camping 👌 id rather no electricity or showers than have people surround me. And absolutely pink ladies 💯%!

I had a similar game for my kids with the Sherrin, but it was always "Maccas for Dinner" if they marked it. When they turned about 6, they just started marking it every time.

Our diesel heater arrived today after camping out near Beaudesert with very cold nights, so totally understand Bec not wanting to get out of bed in the morning. Hate the cold!!

Great little spots. The kiddies just love the freedom to get outside and run around in the fresh air. I reckon the kiddies have a near perfect lifestyle. Great videos . Good luck with the uni Bec. Bagara beach camping is a nice part on the non powered grass area. Heaps of parks around for the kids. And good coffee at salt cafe.

We agree about the pink lady apples and we have got the same problem moving around here after lock down the kids are off until September...The lamb looked delicious our favorite, only one thing where was Becs wine stored!! Keep up the good work, we love this type of caravan camping, we especially like showground camping, tip, type showgrounds in WikiCamps search and see all the great spots, pity as we are Perth based that there is not much showground camping in WA compared to Eastern States, check out some of our favourites in Maleny & Woodford, further north Mullumbimby in the Byron Bay hinterland

cant believe you are at imbil and brooloo . a friend of mine lives in brooloo and i have spent lots of time there . shes an ozzie bushie and i am a pommie villager but for some reason we really click lol . i have been in oz since 82 but my friends bush ways still crack me up at times . lots of trips to gympie for chook supplies etc , still love learning different ways of life . safe travels x
