this has been my favorite hunting show since you guys started it and as a Floridian myself im beyond stoked to see you guys come to my home state! makes it all the better seeing ya'll have the success you are having, especially for Zach on his Osceola hunt. The way things were going and to keep an optimistic mind set through thick and thin just for it to pay off in the end sets a great precedence for myself and hunters everywhere. Love everything you guys are doing for the hunting community so keep it up and thank you for the amazing content.

For SC public land youth day this morning we were hunting in pine stands that were prescribed burned just a few days ago just like that. I like that Aaron mentioned how beautifully open they are (he's right), but don't even think about seriously hunting in them in the years leading up to them needing to be burned. The undergrowth is so thick you won't see anything until it's in your lap. It's nice that everywhere here in the low country seems to be on schedule to be burned this year.

Amazing video guys! Great Turkey harvest! That's one of the reasons of why I choose a Tactacam over a GoPro. It's easier to put it on a barrel and it won't fall off like a GoPro.

I hunt a public area here in the deep south that burns yearly and turkeys can be TOUGH in the burns. The are notorious for just sitting still in em and struting. They are sooo wide open. Congrats on a tough bird.

Can't wait to watch this. I'm guessing there are some similarities to the Northern Florida woods with some of ours here in lower SC (mixes of thick hardwood and pine mixes, pine stands and cypress swamps). I've never really paid attention when driving down that way. Lol. Been getting our stuff ready for our youth public land day on Saturday for my 10 year old and for full public land opening next Thursday (the 1st).

The oak tree that y’all are talking about is a black oak or “turkey oak” (y’all found out why we call them turkey oaks) very good to cook with!

Where I hunt in Florida you have Osceola, Eastern and cross bread. Typical weight 17 to 20 lbs. Have killed some up to 23

Yeah, I believe the Osceolas are south of the Suwanee, I could be wrong, but they're not all south south Florida. Definitely some north of Tampa.

The birds in north Florida are like a hybrid between the two. They’re bigger birds, still have the broken bars on their wings. They lack the attitude and spur length of the Osceola birds.

I'm betting that is a joke about it being a Osceola turkey because most likely they were hunting in Osceola National Forest. That's the only public land that is big enough for a 35 ride from their campsite to the Cypress pond they wanted to hunt.

Congrats on the bird Jake. Those birds up there usually are a mix of Eastern and Osceola. The FWC had to draw a line in the sand to say where the Eastern and Osceola separate so that people hunting for a grand slam can say the harvested a Osceola. 👍

I shot my first ever bird in NE Alabama last year. It was a 20lb Eastern mountain bird! They don’t get too big around here but still just as fun to hunt!

They do burn a lot here in Florida. I drew a permit for a management area in Central Florida and they burned two days before opening day of general gun season.

Awesome vid again fellas!! That bird is a eastern all the way around Suwanee river mid north Florida u could have a hybrid eastern Osceola mix but mostly once u get past Ocala there mostly easterns especially when they have a mix of pretty Green running threw em!
