Regarding the heels slapping ref part, the decision would mostly likely be overruled in kayfabe and the face would be given another chance in some no dq rematch or the heel would be stripped of the title if he/she countinued to abuse it too much. Even if the authority figures were heels, WWE technically still has the "Board of Directors" to magically overrule any heel decisions. Vicki Guerrero and Sonya Deville were prime examples of heel figures getting punished for abusing their power.

Anyone can make a decent acceptable Championship design, I just don't know what is on the mind of Vinie Mac to think that all of the belts are aceptable, even the new US Belt, it looks ok but it doesn't go with the other belts, all the championships (except the NXT ones) don't match with each other.

To be honest the DQ to retain was done by a lot of heels back in the Attitude and RA Eras. The response to that was almost always a match later in which there would be no DQs like a Street Fight or Hell in a Cell. It was a good twist in the storyline to get more heat on the heel and get the face to pop because of the unfairness.

I actually met James Ellsworth like 5 years ago when he was feuding with an styles , itt was indie company that was riding off of the rivalry and the fact that he was in wwe . They brought a ring to my school and made Ellsworth look like A str by having him win a triple threat match, and teddy long opened the show but they wouldn’t let anyone get a pic with him so I just settled for a pick with Ellsworth. I went up to him after the show and he ignored me until my older either yelled his name and he turned around lookin scared and then I got the picture
