I have to agree with some people that I don’t like the vocals, that being said I think she has a gorgeous voice and is clearly a talented singer. The reason why I don’t like it is because it doesn’t fit the emotion of the song, the best part about Day ‘N’ Nite is how great it goes together. The lyrics, the sound of it, that tone he delivers is so fucking on point for what he’s trying to deliver. You can feel his soul and his struggle in those words. With this she is just singing the words, adding in her own vibrato and missing the soul of the song. Again, it isn’t that she’s bad, it’s that she can’t deliver the same feeling because she isn’t him and she can’t put his essence into these words.
