From experience I can confirm that this is a good report about the Amana Colonies. ✅

I've been there once before and ate at the ox yoke inn and it was amazing. Unfortunately I had to leave the next and didnt check out the other places.

Fantastic job! Amana also just opened a BEAUTIFUL, super private, condo style hotel called Hotel Millwright!!! And there’s a new beautiful fountain/landscaping right across the street (there was nothing there before). PLUS more shops planning to come! Including another wineshop, floral boutique, coffee shop, and possibly another salon! Did you know Amana is also a huge wedding destination! With so many gorgeous venue options! My favorite is the Festhalle Barn and the newest option, the Merino Loft but they are all truly amazing depending what you’re looking for!! (I am a hairstylist and do a lot of hairstyling for Amana weddings) We also have more nature trails! The #1 to see being the Amana Kolonieweg Trail which goes right over the lily pond that separates Main Amana and Middle Amana! It can lead you right to the Amana Whirlpool plant! There’s just sooo much to see! Don’t forget the MUSEUMS! And Iowa’s Largest Walnut rocking chair in West Amana!
