If you watch this episode knowing they get into a fight you can see Trisha slowly getting madder. Instead of standing up for herself, she digs her heels in and amps up the sex talk, the ditzy talk etc. Ethan thinks she's being playful and keeps meeting her energy until she gets so mad she explodes. From her perspective, he's picking at her the whole show. He does say some really hurtful things, but because of her reaction, he thinks she's playing along. She's not.

Man rewatching these is like thinking back on your childhood and finding all the little cracks that you couldnt see as a kid. The moment Trisha got even the least actually offended she turned into a cornered animal. Like she was going to "win" against Ethan at all costs. And when Ethan doesnt respond to her jabs like she thought he would she cant concede and just keeps spiraling. Ethan isnt a saint but hes trying his best.

Except bringing up the pill thing was 100% justified. He starts by mocking her for being "crazy" she defended herself by saying she was just more honest about her flaws. Ethan then claims to be not only more sane, but more honest. Trisha defends herself again by bringing up an example where that's not the case and suddenly it's too far. This is textbook gaslighting. Ethan's mysogyny was on full display here and his incel audience loved it.

Eh. Ethan was pretty rude too. I don’t think she likes it when he talks negatively about her relationship with Moses and also him talking bad about her family…She took it to the next level by talking about his private stuff. I definitely think she has some BPD tendencies. BPD isn’t an excuse for bad behavior but it explains her behavior. People with that disorder are emotionally intense, super insecure, and not stable in relationships. It’s very challenging because it’s literally your personality and your personality is pretty much set in young adulthood (some psychologist argue in childhood). That said, I think she’s a better person now with a family (stability).

(PRO TRISHA POV) Ethan arguing his pill addiction as “weaponizing”, but Ethan literally references her past actions to discredit her as a person from the start like OF, calling her disgusting, calling her crazy, etc. but god forbid she cites past actions of his. Watching this now, the fight sparked when Ethan said he wouldn’t trust Trisha & Moses watching Theodore, and predicting that her and Moses would eventually break up after having a kid and would be the fault of Trisha (imagine Trisha instigated this same narrative to Ethan and referenced his past actions to support that, lol) by referencing her self admitted sex addiction, etc. Ethan literally discredits her ability to be his idea of “responsible”. Trisha gave sooooooo many opportunities to divert attention from the topic and play it off, but Ethan kept poking the bear. He’s so dismissive, like ofc someone’s going to be upset.

I agree with this a hundered percent. Sure Trisha has her own problems, but everyone in this comment section and others are only attacking her, dismissing the fact that Ethan also was kind of poking the bubble a bit. I think it’s because Trisha shares her past (her crazy past) with people and people know what she’s capable of and immediate go off that and attack her.

So watching back again it really hits the fan after her talking about her parents caring more about the house then the kids in her parents divorce and saying that she turned out fine. Then she tries to turn it to Ethan saying he didn’t turn out fine. I think the real trigger here wasn’t really being called crazy by Ethan. I think it’s talking about her parents. It’s unresolved trauma and not excepting her past. Ethan has called her crazy before but Trisha can’t except when he says she didn’t turn out fine because Trisha is trying to believe her childhood was good. Peace and love Trisha get some help. Ugh I had a friend like this but she took it even further. She literally had blackmail files saved on her phone, videos of people doing drugs and talking about illegal activity, recording of very private conversations, all acquired in secret, in case they ever “turned on her”. She saved screenshots of her ‘friends’ every post on social media, she’d have screenshots from my twitter, tumblr, Instagram, Facebook, everything I had she checked regularly and saved anything she thought she could use against me. I guess she was so paranoid of people “turning on her” because when people ran for the fucking hills, which everyone has to do eventually, she determined that it was everyone else who was a villain and she had no choice but to have blackmail material to discredit them when they started sticking up for themselves. I was her oldest friend, 12+ years of making excuses for her behaviour before cutting that toxicity out of my life.

It’s literally BOTH of them. Communication for them is literally the issue besides Moses. They both push each other in unhealthy ways. For those of you who is probably gonna try and just put it on Trisha . Ethan made the mistake of saying “this is why your relationships don’t last”. After he said that you could really see her start to blackout or just that her feelings were hurt. They both do things to each other to hurt the other one. But you have to admit Ethan did say some really fucked up things.

Trisha has openly admitted to physically abusing, sexually assaulting, threatening suicide as a form of manipulation, lying, gaslighting, and verbally abusing: Sean. Jason. Moses. And probably more. OPENLY. MULTIPLE TIMES TO MULTIPLE PEOPLE. She also sexually harrased, emotionally and verbally abused, and was racist/antisemitic to Ethan, Hila, and both sides of his family. She has been openly and **repeatedly ** been racist, engaged in cultural appropriation, antisemitism, attacked/lied to and about the Trans community, the DID community, the BPD community, the mental illness community at large, the LQBTQIA+ community at large, domestic abuse survivors, sexual harassment survivors, sexual assault survivors, and rape survivors. She ruined Hila and Ethan's family. And so much more, because this is just what I can think of on the spot. She has NEVER taken real accountability. She has NEVER truly apologized to each person or community she has hurt, attacked, PROFITED OFF OF, and further stigmatized and stereotyped. She is an abuser in all ways. Full stop. A pathological liar. A racist. She is someone who should never, ever, ever have a platform. She should never, ever be allowed to keep making money on the Internet after all the disgusting lies and harm she has and continues to cause. Anyone who could ever defend her, and WORSE, make Ethan seem like the problem is just as sick as she is. You stans disgust me. As someone with many mental health issues (PTSD, BPD, and more), and a survivor of domestic abuse and several rapes, I pray to GOD none of you stans or your family ever, ever has to deal with even a small percentage of the shit I've been thru, and the lies, hurt, and manipulation Trisha has caused.
