Bro as someone from Toronto this explanation is COMPLETELY off. This song is basically a Toronto parody of Hey There Delilah from a Toronto comedian. He’s not referencing Kendrick beating Whitney, “slapped” is another way of saying fucked so when his friend tells Drake he knows a man that slapped it he’s telling him he knows a guy that fucked the girl he just showed him on IG.
