Not a spoiler: Sell swords and gear you are not using even trophies also they are worthless to keep, you can craft missing alchemy ingredients and use more witcher sense and pay more attention to a mini map. Other then that keep it up my man

You made a great choice. If you want an even cooler and more effective set of gear, hunt down Witcher gear, maybe you could dedicate and entire episode or half of an episode to treasure hunts. Witcher gears are worth it because they give out special bonuses. Cat School gear makes your fast attack stronger after hitting someone with the heavy attack first, Bear School gear allows you to replenish Quen after getting hit, Wolf School gear initiates a bleeding effect on enemies, while Griffin School gear works best if you have a sign build, works well especially with Yrden. Trust me, as you progress through the game, these type of bonuses help out a lot, especially since you play on deathmarch, enemies only get harder and harder, especially in the DLCs.

51:12 they've known and been with each other for a long time. Geralt doesn't have to try to woo as much, because their relationship has pretty much been established over the years. Like, you said in your previous video, they come across like an old married couple.

Picked Triss for my second playthrough and was satisfied, but ultimately, I chose Yennefer evey time whenever I do another playthrough. She's just more interesting and witty. Plus the chemistry between her and Geralt is so apparent.

48:21 The "prison" quest didn't actually go worse for you. Actually it went really well because it is a really rare quest that leads to the rarest quest in the entire game. People say its the rarest quest because you can only do it after being imprisoned by Madman Lugos during the Stranger in a Strange Land quest and escaping with Simun Brambling's help, which you did word for word. As i said in the previous videos, you can pay your debt to Simun (and do the rarest quest) by going to the inn near Kaer Trolde. In short, you can do the secondary quests whenever you want, dont be scared that if you dont continue the main quest the outcomes on the secondary quests will be different (which is pretty rare and cool when it happens as i said.)

It's cute how you pretended you MAYBE wont chose any of them XD after last vid it was clear you loved Geralt and Yens chemistry. I dont think anyone will drop watching your playthrough because of your choice, i was rooting for Yen but i would still watch if you picked Triss. Its entertaining watching you make your own choices, there are NO BAD CHOICES. Btw i would recommend finishing Crach's childrens quests before going to pick up Uma.

People that hate Triss make up shit about her. People that choose Triss just say why they choose Triss over Yennifer. I just don't like Yennifers Hypocrisy and selfishness. Triss is always helping other Yenn is always helping herself and doesn't care about the consequences. Just like we saw her destroy an ancient magical place important to the locals just to talk to a corpse for a couple minutes. Also I didn't have to make up a single thing about Yennifer. Just state facts about her personality and actions. I did choose Yenn in one play through. Then also did a playthrough where I chose both 😂. Does work out so well for Geralt.

I see a few others have commented as well, but I'll reiterate for the algorithm ;) The ingredients for White Gull is sold in bars and inns, so with Superior alchemy you need to shop a bit. Especially since another alchemy ingredient also requires stuff to be crafted. That's the Rubedo, Vitriol etc stuff that looks like a powder that's needed for Superior stuff. So you need to both alchemy "craft" the correct alcohol, AND the alchemy ingredient of different powders. A tiny amount is looted here and there off of rare monsters, but not nearly enough. Also, this might be a thing you've done offline, you can get a whole lot of cash from the banker in Novigrad. He's at the end of the main square (where they burn witches), a dwarf in very fine clothing named Vivaldi. He converts the foreign coins you loot into usable coin.

And you wondered about canon ending, it's probably Yen because of history in the books. I think most of the people who love all witcher universum, I mean games and books, see Yen as canon.

Good choice bro:) before going for the main quest again I advise to do Kings Gambit quest. It is very important quest that helps you later on in the game and If you progress main story too much that quest will dissapear:) Also! xD if you do kings gambit quest, cave of dreams and prison quests would dissapear:D So cave of dreams->kings gambit-> main scenario is the pathway to not lose any cool content:) I hope it helps

White Gull is the base for superior quality alchemy creations, look out for these alcohols at inns: Cherry Cordial, Nilgardian Lemon for Alcohest (Enhanced base alcohol) Redanian Herbal, Cherry Cordial, Mandrake Cordial for White Gull (Superior base alcohol)

You don't need to romance none. My first playtrough ended up like that, i let Triss go and rejected Yennefer in her personal quest and also rejected Keira and other girl who you did not encountered yet.

Hey man just a quick reminder but don’t forget to do the Skellige quests for Crach an Craite where you help his children Cerys and Hjalmar with their tasks. If you go collect Uma from the Baron straight away those quests will disappear and you’ll miss out on a lot of extra storyline regarding the fate of Skellige! Basically it’s a big cut off point for a lot of quests so it’s best to finish as many sidequests as possible before you advance any further in the main missions.

some secondary quest are important , helping jarl childs is most important quests in skellige i think. you can buy alchol in taverns to make wihite gull and to make this blu powder to swallow you need to white ghull , all potions , oils and bombs to do them best upgrades needs white gull and some of this powders

You can do both quests just fine you just have to basically tell either triss or Yen that you aren't interested in them at the end of it. If you tell BOTH you want to stick with them that causes problems.

about white gull: Empty bottle and Arenaria can be bought at virtually any alchemist so these ingredients should be obtained with no trouble. Same goes for Redanian Herbal, it can be bought from any innkeeper.All that remain is to buy two remaining alcohols required for brewing the potion - Mandrake Cordial and Cherry Cordial. In the Inn at the Crossroads you can buy both alcohol types.(velen )n Crow's Perch you will find two merchants - one in the outskirts, second in the castle. They both sell Mandrake Cordial and Cherry Cordial.

I think you are still carrying the old saddle and other horse stuff in your inventory and those things are quite heavy. Also try using yrden against flying enemies.

Whichever choice you made, was YOURS to make. If people have a problem with it, that's THEIR problem! Part of the fun for me personally, is seeing you make some different choices than I did when I played, and seeing some different outcomes. Like you getting locked up for instance. Hoping to see the rest of that quest line. Great content, looking forward to the next!

GG - lol; kept me guessing who you were going to pick Especially when you listed all of Triss's admirable qualities before making the choice to let her go ... reality TV "decision time" style .. [you should have put in a drum roll and overlong "faux suspense" music] The game gives Triss a fair shot, as she is the one that you get to romance first at the big party - Yen isn't even in the story until you reach Skellige, and the early exposure to her suggests that she might be arrogant and self-centred - - however, she does have that very first battle scene at the beginning of the game that shows how awesome, and beautiful, and brave, she is I tried to do a Triss playthrough once - I failed. There's nothing wrong with her - but the moment came in the Last Wish ... and "I love you Yen" - I just couldn't choose the other option [haha - so weak] You, like Geralt, have seen through her acerbic sarcasm - to the strong, kind heart that lies beneath "The Last Wish" - is when we see her mask slip, revealing how much she loves Geralt and putting her heart at his mercy (your mercy! - I knew you wouldn't be able to do the unthinkable) She does think she's superior to other people - but that's because it's true, and she's honest about it - which, due to her intelligence, can come across as insensitive and arrogant - luckily, like Dijkstra, her barbed 'insults' are often extremely funny! (at least she internally thinks so!) Would I want the perfect woman to be a fusion of Triss and Yennefer - each cancelling out their "bad" personality traits? No. It's Yen all-in ... Geralt: "You could do to be nicer sometimes ..." Yen: "... then I wouldn't be the woman you fell in love with"

I'm very late to the party, but I still wanna give my pointers about the love interest dynamic in The Witcher games. I started the series with Witcher 2 a long time ago and before playing Wild Hunt I replayed the first 2. In my first playthrough of TW3 I actually didn't hook up Geralt with anyone. In my mind, Geralt wouldn't focus on any of them knowing Ciri was needing him. So my Geralt ended up a single dad desperately trying to find his little one. It would be a whole different story if they wrote the choosing part after what comes next... Then I would 100% choose Yen too because Triss annoys me.

YAAAAY! ITS TIME FOR MORE WITCHER 3!!! *tip* - if you are "too heavy", the heaviest thing you can throw out is chest armors and saddles. *tip number 2* - if you end the "ugly baby" quest before completing quests with the main characters like lamberts quest, king of skellige (cerys and hjalmar quests), all of keiras quests and djikstras, the quests will erase and "fail" if you dont do them.

43:57 Djikstra and Geralt dont really like each other my guy. Djikstra tried to kill him and thats why to this day he has trouble walking. You should definetly read the books. I have the impression you'd enjoy the story

Comment for the algorythm. Fun fact: You actually died at 1:25:50 because your toxination was too high and you got damage. You were saved because you had adraline points left and it triggered your character ability Undying

CDPR probably considers the romance with Yennefer to be canon, because in Cyberpunk we can find a message in which it is written that Geralt and Yen confessed their love to each other on the top of this mountain 💚

Very nice tension build-up. I've read the books long before games and a choice was obvious to me for my playthrough. But I couldn't remember if leaving Skellige would fail Last Wish and was a little nervous for you :) Also you'll need whole ton of alcohol for white gulls to make all superior alchemy. You can buy it at every Inn but best stocked with that type of alcohol is a merchant at Novigrad square next to Vivaldi bank.

you really schould try alternative outflits for Yenn ,Triss and Ciri -they are far much better than standar version (because Triss and Yen are magician so they have really beautifull outflits no like random people ) and best alhemy components even rare you can buy in Druids camp on Skellige

Good Lord, Yen fans are like a cult. Either choice is fine, really. Could see Geralt being truly happy with either of them. But the amount of fanaticism that some of yall are demonstrating, commenting and obsessing over every video and getting actually ANGRY when it's not the choice you'd like that is picked, that is kinda... sad.

I'm team Yen, but on my first playthrough I went for Triss just to see what happens. Also it's really nice that you can see the Lighthouse from the ship on top of the mountain (even in the final cut-scene of the quest).

I'm not knocking your Yenn decision. I just like Triss more. She is nicer and far more selfless(selfish). She put her life on the line for a bunch of people she barely knows or doesn't know at all. She is far more like Geralt. If you play through the game again on your own again your should pick Triss. Ask her to stay when she is leaving on the ship. There are some good lines with Dysksta too in that moment. Also I think Yenn reminds Dysksta of Phillipa. The Mage that betrayed him. He sees Triss as differently. Not like you should really care what Dysksta thinks but he is an amazing well written character. Kind of hard to read sometimes and other times not so much.

I always use Yennifers wish to break things off and go for Triss. Triss is a far better person. Yenn is a selfish hypocrite. She constantly does things to others that she would hate to have done to her. She is a text book example of why many people hate mages.

That statement is hypocritical. Triss took advantage of Geralt while he had amnesia, knowing full well he was with Yennefer. Everything Yen has done was for others, especially for Ciri.

Hey man, I rarely comment but I just wanted to say that your playthrough is extremely entertaining and it would be really sad to see you stop uploading this. Witcher 3 fanbase is very strict to "what you should do", because that's what they've chosen. Ignore backseating comments, you play it as you want, its your channel, your gameplay. We are here to enjoy it with you not the other way. Cant wait for you to start DLC cause you will be amazed.

AHHHH this was my fav ep of this entire playthrough, probably. i could feel your love for them together and yen throughout the whole game lowkey, after their interaction in white orchard. triss is an interesting character no doubt but the dynamic of yen and geralt is something so natural, to the player and the plot of the game. look forward to seeing your reaction to their family dynamic as a whole ;)

It is always better to drop junk items such as hide or broken rakes then relic swords worth few hundreds of crowns that can be dismantled into crafting items needed for superior witcher gear. I know you dont care for that but buying ingredients later is very expensive and some ingredients are otherwise unobtainable. This was facepalm moment if i ever seen one.

Game Yen is not really toxic (at least not with Geralt), but book Yen definitely is. It's only after meeting Geralt and Ciri that Yen changed a bit over the span of 15 years, to the point where she's now only toxic when talking to others and no more when talking to those two. Also why is Witcher 2 Triss in the Thumbnail?

He will regret his choice when he sees how she speaks to the other witchers and when she throws him into THE OCEAN (I hope she does), SOME MEN just like to be HUMULIATED by their "lover". Also: The problem is that he said "I made my choice" at the beginning, AFTER having spent hours with Yen, instead of waiting to meet Triss again and see.
