I've been trancing through my teenage years and always missing something in the vibes an the composition of beats and all... Only to discover psy around my 17 years of age. What an eye-opener. Such a revelation I never stopped listening to this date almost 15 years later. I go to BOOMfestival in Portugal very often because to me, it's one of the purest festivals around there. I even had my honeymoon there with my wife :D The HoneyBOOM!

I promise you will understand genres a lot more if you should ever visit BOOMfestival and do an around-the-clock visit to the main stage. Genres are coupled with state of day. For example: Sunrise = low bpm and awakening such as Neelix (only an example), noon = steady bpm and uplifting such as this set by Tristan, afternoon and evening (moodlights everywhere) will be more progressive and straightforward. At night that's where the full-on genre enters the stage to be followed by dark full on... Only to arrive at sunrise again and start all over :)
