Coach I’m new to your channel but I found out about you through your Joe Rogan podcast and I love your thought process and perspectives. My son is 1 years old and I was wondering when should I put him in jui jitsu?
@hasanhaytham4455Ай бұрын
Put him in gymnastics first, to develop athleticism and movement plus coordination. Then take them to jujitsu after they've done gymnastics for awhile I've heard firas answer this question before I think he'd say something similar to this

Salam Coach! Really strange the experience you had with banded distraction. For me I could barely walk because of hip impigment and it was this exercise plus foam rolling, that enabled me to train. What I found out, is that it s a great solution short term, but not in the long run. My hip impigment is gone now after doing the program from precision movement, it s legit. Is approach is more focused on neuromuscular activation. The exercices are boring but so helpful. I recommend you check his content, I know you checked kneeovertoes and many guys. And you are open to see other approach

Respect your opinion on Jones vs Aspinall, but I think Aspinall beats Jones. Jon arguably lost to Dom Reyes years ago and he has been inactive through the back end of his prime. Aspinall is dynamic, fast and powerful, with a full set of mma skills, and he weighs over 250lbs, yet moves with the speed of a welterweight. It wouldn't even be close imo. Unfortunately the fight will never happen, Jon knows what's up and he wants nothing to do with Tom.
@Milk-vw1cvАй бұрын
It's a lose lose for Jones anyway, if he wins people will just discredit aspinall and cite the next contender as the one to beat him. Look how people treat Gane now because Jones won against him. Imo Aspinall probably wins but only because Jones is already on his way out the door
@TheKingoftheKingofKingsАй бұрын
That’s Bs, after dc a win against Aspinall would be the biggest of his career
@jawaadshahidАй бұрын
It's hard to argue against most of what u said. The only thing I would say is JJ was complacent against reyez, so we didn't see him at his best. Imo he clearly got outsruck and lost that. At his best though, it's hard to say anyone clearly beats him. Aspinal is a beast and will cause serious problem for jones no doubt

Always a pleasure to watch your AMAs coach. The ballet exercise in strong and stable back to elongate the spine helps me have a better posture, but creates some pain (not a lot) in my upper vertebre because I have kyphosis. Should I continue doing the exercise?
@CoachZahabiАй бұрын
Glad to hear it. Yes definitely but always remember to respect the pain rule. Never allow pain or discomfort to pass a 7 on 10. Be gentle and go for consistency over intensity.

Hi Coach 🫡 when i did hyper extension a coach told me just do half reps to keep the spine straight. I told him it is light weight and it is good for the spine to bend and to go all the way up and down. But now im confused what is right? Even the neck curls should i go all the way down and up?
@CoachZahabiАй бұрын
@@bin3skar237 he’s right don’t go to far past parallel, 15 degrees past parallel is the max you should go. I don’t do neck curls but many trainers do and have good results. I personally don’t feel I need it and only do static strength with minimal movement.

Not sure if you take questions after the stream but I wanted to ask about your position on volume training: you used the analogy of pull ups in a previous video where if somebody does 5 pull ups every day vs their max of 10 twice a week, the volume of lower intensity (but at a challenging level) is greater and more consistent, and so the progression over time is better. But what if somebody does lower intensity training with the same volume output as somebody does higher intensity training? e.g if somebody maxes out 10 pull ups twice in a week vs if somebody splits does 4 pull ups monday-friday? Intuitively, I would think that maxing at 10 pull ups twice would produce better results. If I am correct, then would there not be a volume threshold where low intensity needs to pass before it can match a lower volume of higher intensity training?

Coach I respect your prediction for jones vs aspinal. Coach you are considerably more intelligent than I am but I kindly disagree, i truly believe that tom would beat jon. I'm sure it would be a very good very close fight. I want to see that fight more than any other right now. If I ever get enough money I am going to come train with you coach. God bless you brother 🙏
