i promise you, a guy who murders kids isnt "thinking about what he did" in remorse when hes been put in prison. They're sitting there reminiscing and fantasizing about why they're there in the first place...these people deserve to be eliminated.

The death penalty is pointless and expensive. Those who want it are emotional children who like the idea of petty revenge. The idea of the state killing its citizens is so science fiction and sick to me. The clinicalness of it is more disgusting than someone killing in a moment of anger. The main reason I'm against it is because innocent people can be and have even executed. It's not a deterrent. It's ridiculously expensive. Most victims families who thought the death penalty would bring them satisfaction and closure have later said it did not.

Jim Norton talking about Ramzi Yousef, that guy has been in the hole for like 25 years now, he has never left his cell. He apparently handles it better than most and even converted to Christianity but he has been pleading for human contact.

Seems like that would be inhuman or illegal. No human contact in 25 years? Yikes. Imagine someone bringing him food everyday gets an ear full

It is better to die than to be in some of the maximum security prisons, especially ADX Florence, AKA The Supermax. Watch Sammy the Bull's video about being in there. Many would rather kill themselves than suffer the torture of prolonged isolation, but suicide is practically impossible inside this prison, also whereas in most prison adsec tiers other prisoners can still be heard and there is contact with with the COs, in ADX your cell is completely silent and you are behind bars within your cell, so when the guards come in you are still physically separated, this is the most personal contact you will have and the guards have orders not to speak to you. People have spent multiple decades without any contact AT ALL. That is worse than death.

@@joeyvanostrand3655Hey petty moron, prison is not intended to be a punishment, it's to keep the public safe and to rehabilitate. Nowhere does the court system describe it as punishment.

Oh god Anthony was always terrified of home invasions. He lives his life in fear. The odds of your home being invaded and you being tied up and beaten or murdered are so low it's not worth thinking about. Anthony has way way more chance of dying from his reckless driving or his chronic alcoholism or through a gun accident/negligence. If you look at the statistics he's going to die falling down his stairs, drowining in his pool, using a crosswalk, or exercising. Yet does he worry about all those things which are more likely to affect him? Does he change his lifestyle to prevent those? No, he worries about the thing that is incredibly unlikely to happen to him and carries on drinking and speeding. Come to think, he has had multiple car accidents and he has had heart trouble from his lifestyle. His drinking has caused him multiple arrests, break ups, and a job, not to mention his liver is probably on it's last legs. He's such a typical dumb boomer.
