The music of this time was full of optimism. Triumph's song writing was full of encouragement. With songs like magic power, fight the good fight, and this one. They Focused on the power of the human spirit and how to grow it and use it. Today's music it's all about tearing down. I was 18 when triumph was popular and got a lot of air play. And i have seen them a couple of times out here in L.a. I was very lucky to be young at that time because it has molded me in to the best person that i can possibility be. I still listen to magic power in the morning to start my day and it feels great. And i am 56 years. I wish i could see the young people have the same encouragement and optimism. 🤗 Yeh i am starting to sound like a old man🤔 But not a grouchy old man 😊 I love life and it is beautiful.

Ric's voice is insanely great!!! I can't think of many other rock singers that can even come close to him in range, control and pure energy like he puts out!! His guitar playing is sick too. The whole band is just so underrated!!!

This is a GREAT song and uncommon in its message of hope to humanity - the very opposite of music today. Trash and degrade yourself and give all of your power away. A quality band like this would never fit in with the "insiders" of today. Listening to this would be like exposing vampires to sunlight where people sell their soul for fast cash and power.

Triumphs music was Soo inspirational to me as a young guitarist, and having a strong relationship with Jesus. I struggled with my purpose as my life dream was to play music, but my committment to Yahuah could not be tainted. So so many of Triumphs songs seemed to be about exactly this, for me. Including this...I knew, that first verse was me, the rest of the world =the rest of the song. Sad for them, but so easy for me to see. Then "Don't you know that part of you is part of me" Who do you think is saying that??? 😉 He wrote about this again in Just A Game, (music biz), and All the way (he was offered to sell his soul, but took Luck instead, many inuendos only the faithful would recognize- Pray for wisdom (Looking up to God) Dig for gold (see?) What goes up is gonna come down (blow up big, fall hard in the End) Take it All way (this life isn't the end) Man, I played and I prayed. Till I could shred, like no other girl around. What did I choose? I chose God , said Ok, I'm ready now, hit those bands, and bars, and who knows..., drugs, men, fame, fortune, Ill put you first, I'll be a role model for You, just gimme a sign if this isn't what you want for me, but you need to make it a big one, cuz I've worked hard, and my dream is about to happen...that was Friday, Monday, at work, bad table saw hand injury. Lost fingers, It sucked, but He knows what's best for us...He had better plans for me. The sound of a beautiful guitar is bittersweet for me, but Triumph and My Yahuah will always be sweet sweet music to my ears. 💜 Everyone has heard "Ask and ye shall receive". He answers EVERY prayer, might not be the answer you want, but He is the All knowing, and He will blow your mind. We don't follow blindly. He is Supernatural, A Holy Spirit. Have faith, KNOW He is the reason you are here, and your life will turn into an adventure filled with shock, wonder, disbelief, an undescribable feeling of peace, and you will KNOW your loved. That's all he wants. Yeah, there's a few rules, didn't your Father give you rules? To keep you safe? He will reward you in ways you can never imagine, from the tiny simple question, as you ponder ...the answer comes in the funniest way, really! You think a fairy tale would last this long? LOL Oh ye of little faith. Don't believe me? Just look up, and say I need to know, if You are real I WANT to know You. If you are serious, oh, trust me, HE WILL show you! Remember, ASK, AND YE SHALL RECIEVE.
