Actually he can, this is his old vocal distortion incorrect technique which he still can do but it's dangerous for his vocal health. Instead of that he is using proper technique which should sound the same but for some reason it doesn't, maybe it's because his vocal chrods and vocal folds are damaged because of using incorrect technique so it sounds like an old tractor

Golradir999 I've just commented the same in other Trivium's videos. I can't imagine Trivium without Paulo, his vocals are sick and his bass lines in Incineration- The Broken World or Throes of Perdition are fucking awesome.

Dude, Matt hasn't gone worse with screaming and clean vocals, however he has inproved. He still sings like this, but it is impossible to hear, when you are watching live performances, because the quality is bad, even if it is 1080p, it will sound bad. Believe me man, i have been in their concerts, he hasn't changed. +i live Paulo's vocals, i wish he would be lounder in tracks.

@@josebuzani2066 nick was never meant to be a band member... he was brought in when travis left to play shattering the skies above and ended up hanging round... travis had more groove but he could never keep up with Nick speed wise... in waves was written by nick and there are some absolutely huge pieces on that album that rival anything else done by the band in my opinion... it doesn matter anymore anyway because we now have alex and he is the best fit for the band and it's current trajectory that is available plus a much more technical player than all previous drummers... the one I wish they'd worked on more is matt Madiro... the sound he had with his kit was amazing to my ears

Alex is the best metal drummer in the world IMO but Nick is also very good. His problem is that he never played as even and tight at actual shows as he did in these live Chapman performances which I've never understood. Obviously he could do it, but at shows he always seemed to be all over the place.
