I’m tearing up hearing Trixie talk about how she used to perceive her ambition as a positive thing, but now sees it as the response to a very traumatic upbringing. And I feel that. Being so poor so young, for so long. And coming out in a positive light. It’s inspirational. Truly Trixie. You mean so much to me and everyone. The vulnerability is so special. And I feel grateful to hear more in depth about the person you are.

I have always loved how vulnerable you are and how up front you are about your struggles and feelings. Despite your narrative that you're a private person, something that has always drawn me to you and your drag has been how truly real you are. Beyond the looks, beyond the singing ability, beyond the autoharp and guitar, beyond the comedy, you're still a human being and you've never lost that part of yourself. Thank you so much for your vulnerability and thank you for being you. We love you and are behind you with whatever direction your career takes you.

Thank you for being vulnerable on the chan-elle. Trixie, you have been working so hard for so long. Even during the pandemic, you used that time to pursue additional work. And while I know all of us fans appreciate all the work you do, you deserve time to rest. In your own words- "You've got time to grow." This is you growing into the next phase of your life where you can reap the benefits of all the work you've done in the past. Everyone who loves you just wants you to be happy and healthy. Rest, relax, connect with family. You are more than enough just by being you. Cheers to you getting more rest and relaxation in your life ❤

"Breathe through the hardest times because it's all temporary." Thanks Trixie, I cried when I heard that and desperately needed to hear it. You are so smart to start prioritizing your family over work. I have just learned the hard way that time with family is limited and when it's gone you can't ever get it back. It is much more valuable than money.

Hey Trixie. Longtime listener, first time commenter. What you said about surviving hardship in your early life and carrying it with you even once you’re more secure really resonated with me. There's an element of survivor's guilt that crosscuts the inability to slow down for fear of everything falling away. And these feelings often persist even when you know you're financially secure and live generously with your loved ones. Just wanted to say that many of us so deeply appreciate your story. I'm so proud to support you however I can.

Since I started watching UNHhhh in 2020 during the pandemic, you have been a light source in some of my darkest times. But I never stopped to understand or think that maybe you weren't having your brightest times. Those around you are the most essential thing in life; whether that is friends, family, or partners, you cannot be fulfilled without them. Your priorities are valid and healthy, and part of why the character of Trixie has been something I have loved for 3 years is your vulnerability. Though Trixie might be a little less in the limelight, I will support your newfound goals and hope that Trixie Mattel becomes even brighter in the coming years.

Hearing you be this vulnerable and open about the direction you want to take your life in and being as transparent as you have been about the factors that have made you the ambitious freak you are is truly inspiring. I see how difficult and awkward expressing this all has been for you as a private person and it brings me so much comfort to know you have realized how important it is to slow down and actually be present in your life. You absolutely deserve that. We’re the same age and from similar social backgrounds and it is sometimes like looking in a mirror for me. I’m coming to very similar realizations about my life. I think back on all the things I’ve sacrificed to have the life I have now and while I wouldn’t say I regret anything, I definitely don’t have to keep making the same level of sacrifices. I can reprioritize. I don’t have to constantly keep running just to keep my head above water. Hearing you say out loud things I’ve been thinking truly has been a wake up call. So, thank you for putting this part of yourself out there. It legitimately helped me.

Thank you for saying all this, Trixie. I think the society overall puts this insane expectation that everyone should always prioritize their career or jobs, because in a way that is seen as "putting yourself first". But we are not defined exclusively by what we work on, our lives are so more than that. Taking time to meet with friends, family, prioritize life events, or just do nothing all day, that is also a way of putting ourselves first. Unfortunately we have always been taught that overworking is a virtue and something to aspire - I prefer to think that we should aspire as much as possible for a balanced relation with career and everything else in life. And it's never too late to change this society imposed mindset. ❤

I love what Miss Kitty said...."You are under no obligation to be the person you were yesterday." You will find the balance that matters to you and it changes from year to year. 💗

Bravo to Trixie for being "real." You're setting priorities for your personal life. That's self care. That's self love. Thanks for reminding us how essential that is! ❤

watching this channel, watching UNHhhh, bald & the beautiful, queens who watch, your gigs, your tours/shows - everything you do is amazing. i think almost all of the fans can say that those forms of media has pulled us of some dark dark places. i hope you know what you do, the light, the laughter and the joy you can spread to people is amazing. we love you trixie.

This is my favorite video of yours ever. I know you have (normal and healthy!) boundaries around sharing personal info, but this particular piece of sharing could not have come at a better time for me, and I appreciate the support of thoughts and feelings I've been having. I've watched it several times, and I'm going to watch it again. Now take a hiatus, take a vacation, go to every single thing you've been missing, and step away from the wigs!! They, and us, will be here when you get back.

Even though we've seen you do your makeup 80 times, its still so comforting to watch. It feels like your my wine aunt telling me your life lessons.

Loved this beyond expression. Whenever I’m having a bad day/unmotivated day, I ALWAYS think to myself “Think of everything that Trixie does in a day.” I’ve respected and idealized your hustle for SO long. But it’s refreshing to hear that maybe it isn’t the healthiest. Proud of you! ❤

I know I can speak for all of us here when I say take all the time for yourself that you need! ❤ It’s honorable and refreshing to prioritize things other than work. You earned everything you have.

The way the vibe changed as soon as David walked in was so pure and loving. You could tell that they are so in love and that they care for each other so much like David’s hands on Trixie’s shoulders was literally goals😭💛

I randomly discovered Unhhhh on KZfaq a few years ago, and you and Katya never fail to make me smile. You guys are the perfect palatte cleanser when I'm stuck in the library burried in dry uni work. You guys inspire me to construct a life that suits my needs, rather than try to shoehorn myself into some pre-determined archetype. Your drive and multifaceted skillset make me feel like anything is possible, and for that I'm grateful. I hope you take the time you need, and that you start to feel better soon. I appreciate you ❤

girl it's not only OK to slow down, it's necessary. no need to feel guilty. we're all here for whatever you do. i never wore makeup in my life and i'm here every monday. it's not the makeup, it's not the content, it's you. whatever and however much you decide to do in the future, i'll be there, too. take care of yourself, love you ❤️

Hi Trixie, I’m sorry you’ve been having a hard time lately. You don’t need to share it with us, but thank you for doing it (here and on the pod). I hope talking about it helped a little bit to lighten up the burden? Anyway, please don’t feel guilty about taking time for yourself and taking care of yourself and your relationships! You’ve been giving us SO MUCH joy for the past how many years and you deserve to feel that joy back a hundred times. We love you!! On a lighter note love how you’re sharing personal stuff and then pausing to say the product name lmao only you!!

I’m so glad you are prioritizing your family! I started doing the same a couple years ago and my dad unexpectedly passed at the end of last year… I’m so grateful that I had the time with him that I did!

I had a parent who was addicted to meth. The amount of weight Trixie is losing between videos is concerning. NOTICEABLY more gaunt than a week ago.

@@Aerationalprobably a mix of not eating (like she said in the video) and running too much (I think Katya mentioned at some point on a podcast ep that she’s running to the point where it feels like self harm, I could be wrong tho).

You’re processing your trauma, learning how to listen to your body and mind when they’re telling you you’re burnt out! As a fan i think the amount of content and material and live shows and music etc you’ve been creating and putting out is incredible, but your fans would all so much rather you be happy and have a fulfilling life outside of your career. It’s safe to put yourself first. Take care of you, mom ❤❤❤
