What i would like to see it as is this; So after Troll enters the cave, he has a feeling of regret, but is drawn into it (maybe by the immense feeling of the old hibernating omniversal powers) and through it they transfer themselves into him because they are just powers, shapeless and they want form and a host, so they use a reality shifting form to hide. After taking control of Trollface, he becomes something else, and since it has both Trollface and the omniversal powers inside of him, he has the urge of bloodlust because in most incidents they mainly start when the entity is ready to become stronger, and they become stronger by consumption of other organisms, so that's why they get larger when destroying and eating whole cities and even planets full of humans, as well as other entities, it helps them grow and get stronger, as for the powers, im pretty sure they have the capability to destroy the omniverse, with it being the omniversal devourer, and it's main goal to dominate over the omniverse, and to explain the fact that only he has the omniversal powers, every (or most) incidents happen in different universes or whole different realities, just like how multiple entities are able to come together, they mainly use portals to connect the 2, so either or could go to be honest
