-- don't think i'm saying Jim's not allowed to struggle & have PTSD, i have it from the trauma i've been through and i've never met a troll in my life, he absolutely is allowed to falter or be weaker, i just would've written ROTT extremely differently; and had his PTSD come out extremely differently. they took his fighting spirit away, when we've seen, from everything he's done before, that he copes with anxiety by overcompensating & refusing to give up on his goals even to his or other's detriment. i wouldn't go so far as to say returning him to his human form was an irredeemable mistake that makes the whole THU (Trollhunters' Universe) unappealing, but they made ROTT-Jim less of a fighter than not only half-Troll JIm, but pre-half-Troll Jim. even human, Jim was always a hero, and always will be, in my story. he will always be the one to bear the burden
-- don't think i've forgotten about Aja & Krel, i haven't; my opinion is actually that there's should've been a truly stand-alone series because although i love them dearly i don't feel they fit in well with the rest of the THU, if i continue my media analysis-hyperfocus i'll make a video about them, too
