Great squiding Shroom! I haven’t been able to catch an inshore Kingy for the past 4 months either but hopefully they come back inshore in the Summer! Also hope you’re into Jiu Jitsu like your friend is! 😉

nice vid Shroomster. question: I have been fishing some clearer water around the marinas and seen a few chunky bream, but they are either very skitish or wont commit. Had multiple follows throwing a range of plastics, but no bites. Any advice?

Thanks Brommo, they are well fed and the clear water makes them very wary of anything that looks natural. They would probably bite further down the water column or during low light

It was 6lb with a 4lb strand to breakaway if I snagged to lose sinker. I rexcommend using 10lb to be safe

Yes, I haven't had a chance to open it yet but I'll get to it shortly. Just figuring out how best to address everyone, either I wait for a few packages and justify a quick video on opening etc., or just open and then decide

@@ShroomFishing with mine I would just open. Then decide. There is a letter inside explaining it. Your channel do what you think is right. I must admit most channels open theirs on camera where people like BermPeak/Seth's bike hacks open there's then review them. I guess if you know what they are then do both versions of you got the time.

Ah, back at the ol bait spot....and getting those squid, well done.. hopefully there's some left when I go there on the weekend. Edit, the sinker on the line is good, I add one to get my jigs to sink, the squid still hit it

I went trolling for squid with jigs on the kayak and had a squid come up with about 20 other squid they were everywhere the troll seems to work 😂

Squid are supposed to be colour blind but different colour jigs seem to work better than others.

Yes, it's probably the contrast or at least the way they perceive these jigs is not the same as the way we see colour but they can still tell the difference
