Trolling offshore in Steinhatchee then getting DESTROYED by the STRONGEST FISH

2 жыл бұрынWe went fishing offshore in Steinhatchee out of the Sea Hunt Gamefish 25 in search of some late season Gag Grouper. We plucked a few grouper off while trolling in Steinhatchee, one of which was a keeper! We then decided to head a little more offshore, and started bottom fishing with live shrimp. I had my inshore setup and kept getting DESTROYED by what I thought was Grouper, but it ended up being Amberjacks. We had a little fun with the AJ's before we ended the day and getting back home.

I have heard that quite a bit....I heard they are a pain to clean though? If you had to compare, what would you say they taste like?

To me it's not a strong flavored fish from what I remember. I only fish near shore now.

@@NickeeGee the meat is white, flakey and taste similar to snapper. They are a bit harder to clean then small snapper but not near as hard as sheepshead. Lol
