WHEN couple Cole and Charisma bought their first home together, they had to think about more than what colour to paint the walls. They are in the process of completely renovating their newly acquired property to make it accessible for Cole who uses a wheelchair. The young couple, from Richmond, Virginia met at a rehabilitation centre for quadriplegics - where Charisma worked and Cole was a patient. After realising they liked each other, the pair started dating and more recently got engaged with plans to marry the end of 2020. Their KZfaq channel Roll with Cole & Charisma has now amassed over 366,000 subscribers. But in spite of the overwhelming number of positive reactions to the videos they share, the couple still receive negative comments and assumptions about their relationship - whether it's trolls claiming Charisma is only with Cole for his money - or insinuating remarks about them being an interracial couple.

People are just jealous. There's nothing that strange about either of these two. They are both young and attractive, doing well financially. Yes, methinks some people just hate other people's happiness.

I follow them on KZfaq and they are such a great match. They are like any other couple and have normal lives. They seem to really love each other. Him being in a wheelchair doesn’t matter. Everyone has a story and this how they were brought together. I totally support them.

We need to normalize this!! I’ve known couples where one had a physical disability and was in a wheelchair & it’s totally not a big deal, they’re just regular people. I wish people wouldn’t hate or judge 😭

They're so funny and nice, I had to go find their KZfaq channel. People are so miserable that they can't believe a person in a wheelchair can find love without there being a hidden agenda such as being a "gold digger".

Wait a sec, people hate this couple bc the dude’s in a wheelchair?? Wtf?? Sooooo if these people are married and their spouse gets into a horrible accident that lands them in a wheelchair or worse, fully paralyzed, then what?? They’re just gonna divorce them?? I don’t get it? I see literally NOTHING weird about this couple whatsoever. I like their personalities, they seem like genuinely nice people who truly are in love. Love this. I’ve seen this couple on KZfaq before and their love for one another seems genuine. It reminds me of a “Me Before You” kind of love story, except there is no tragedy. I wish them all the best. ❤️

My son was 18 when he got his diving paralysis. that was in 1991. he never found love and died April 2021.

He's a very good looking guy and she's a beautiful lady. I don't think she's a gold digger. She sees past his disability to the person that he is. So sad what happened to him, though. I've known/known of quite a few people who have become paralyzed due to an accident. They've all met spouses who love and accept them for who they are.
