Stephen Thomas Well it says plague doctor in the title as well. And i found this video while searching for "plague doctor mask".

I can see how a search engine would do that to you. Because Masquerade Venetian Mask is listed first in the title the second part is to give you a sub heading of style. I'm not saying you are wrong in your thoughts Saphire 6 especially if you are given wrong search results. The style is what a plague doctor would have worn. The fact it does not have the hollowed out nose for perfumed flowers etc classes it as a masquerade.

Stephen Thomas I am well aware of the differences between that of a masquerade mask and a plague doctor mask, as well as the uses. But not everyone are aware of these differences. That is the point I was trying to make

There is that point Saphire 6 though looking at the mask before you see how it's made gives you a fair idea x

James Owens I think plasticine is like clay that doesn't dry, I have questions about the water bottle too

A large bottle that is roughly head sized (wide), a 2 liter would probably work

If you have trouble sanding, you can paint several layers of gesso and sand it to an almost porcelain finish.

Michael Miller it's basically clay that won't dry out and you can't bake it so anyhting that says that. Also called modeling clay sometimes

In the USA we have a product called "modeling clay" that is for children and will not dry out. Crayola sells one - just google "Crayola Modeling Clay" and make sure it says "won't dry out". That is what plasticine is. You can also use a polymer clay, but dont bake it

Viper it may collapse... if you are using a large plastic bottle or something else you can cut as your base I suggest poking a long wooden dowel or chopstick poked in through the backside and out the front of your base. Then, you can add the clay over the dowel without it falling.
