I am the owner of Trigger the troopers legacy pup. He’s a 7 year old half black lab and half German Shepherd. I’ve had him since he was a year old. He became my service dog after he was rescued from hurricane Harvey in Houston Texas when he was 10 months old. He is my best friend in the world and I am so thankful he got to be on the field with me during that performance. What an honor to be able to celebrate 65 years of the Troopers Drum & Bugle Corps.

I remember back in the 60s the drum line had a move that often left the drum judge 5 yards in the wrong direction. We would all watch for it.

The Dog's name is Trigger and he is a service dog (medical needs) for one of our trumpet players. He was the official mascot for us with the Legacy Corps
