Күн бұрынTroops from the Enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Lithuania, the Enhanced Forward Presence Battle Group Poland, and the 15th Mechanized Brigade conduct a water crossing operation utilizing M3 Amphibious Rigs in Rukla, Lithuania, during Saber Strike 17. Saber Strike is a U.S. Army Europe-led combined forces exercise conducted annually to enhance the NATO Alliance throughout the Baltic region and Poland.

Combined British and German units working together I work at the depot the m3's are stored at. Both units are very quick to assemble flotation bridges. What is not shown is the prep of the river banks using divers and entry and exit points being cleared and prepared. All of these soldiers practice this at least once a week 👍

The Gurkhas in Ww2 fighting in the jungles of Burma, use to build bridges over rivers using only bamboo and held together by strands of vine. The bridges were so strong, they took the weight of tanks and heavy artillery . The British were amazed.
