Tropical activity starting to increase

Жыл бұрынFox 13 meteorologist Jim Weber is watching two areas of disturbed weather. Jim says one area is moving towards the west but is starting to diminish and only has a ten percent chance of turning into a storm. Jim is also watching one system working its way off the coast of Africa. Models say it could weaken over the weekend due to wind shear.

That west El Nino winds we have been getting will push those storms east.

el nino shear doesnt push storms to another direction, they just give storms an environment that's not all so favorable

Man you can hear Jim trembling with excitement about the possibility that the second storm might develop and I'm looking forward to the 2 week cone putting Tampa Bay right in the middle and starting the storm panic season, where every single storm is projected to hit Tampa Bay as a Cat 5 and destroying everything.

One more note, if you look at another hurricane that seems to be headed into Baja, California, you will see the power of hurricanes to gather TPW and organize it into their storm system. It takes LH from the southern coast of Mexico and drags it all the way into the US Southwest. Pluvicopia proposes a mechanism similar to monsoonal mechanics to do the same thing regularly to turn the whole US Southwest green.
