It looks like your Blue Java has wire/rope to secure it. I'm in Central and haven't taken mine out of the nursery pot yet because I cant figure out where/how to place it. The most sun is next to a fence I share so Im afraid of high winds knocking it over. Its not close to the house to secure like yours. Is that why you secured it-hurricane winds? Any suggestions would be appreciated 🙏🏻

Did you get fruit from those apple trees? Man the chilling effect is a structural thing...these kind of trees need some cold hours to produce flowers. But if you get a fruit means that this specific variety needs fewer hours than the rest. I am very curious if you got any fruit. @yanostropicalparadise755
@yanostropicalparadise755 2 жыл бұрын
@@tasoskar9693 not yet, i can't get the dorset and anna to bloom at the same time so the apples i get are self-pollinated and small, they taste good but small. the dorset is in bloom right now and has one apple on it the size of a small prune. the anna has zero signs of spring growth. in a few more years i expect it will get better. ill film again mid spring and show the growth and fruit set this year. i pruned in the early winter. apples here in my yard are more for a treat than a crop i plan to keep all the trees but a few "small".

@@nicolashenao24 who the hell told you that lie? of course they grow there and avocados to. frost and extrem cold can hurt them but there are ways to prevent that. you can grow anything almost anywhere with planning and proper execution, plant the sensitive trees near a house or building that is heated in the winter problem solved. plant it under a larger tree on the side that the sun shines on all day, plant cold tolerant trees around it. i do that with topicals that are even more sensitive than those. fertilize at least 4 times a year water twice weekly mangoes and avos grow year round.
