Good morning Brian, greetings from Bodden Town here in the eastern district of Grand Cayman. We have had three days of heavy thunder-showers. Although we needed the rain, the flooding island-wide is evidence of the ‘feast or famine’ nature of our rainfall patterns. Some of us can compare conditions after Hurricane Ivan (2004) when a lot of the surface water present on roads, yards and open spaces was actually encroached sea-water. I would say we have had more actual rainfall in the last six days.
