I started watching today's video shortly before 9am. It's now 9:25 and I just heard you say, you hoped it helped chase away some of those winter blues. I had to laugh. I'm in Alaska, and it's still dark. Part of that is because of clouds, but sunrise isn't until 10:15 today. We will have 5 hours and 20 minutes of daylight today. I'll just paint, and be grateful the solstice is in two days. After that, we start gaining daylight every day. It will only be 2 seconds, that first day, but we love those upwards minutes! Hope you have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Years.

Reminds me of the Carribean Islands at sunset. I have a lot of sunset photos from the keys that I took when I lived there. This technique would be perfect for them. First I will paint this one though because I love the colors. Merry Christmas Jane.

Loved this! I like the shorter versions because if the videos are an hour, I know I'll be spending 2-3 hours since I constantly have to pause and rewind but that's what makes your videos fun! Love this Jane. I haven't started this but I hope when I go to use the fan brush it turns out similar. I tried a similar one from Angela Anderson and its one of my favorites. I really like the effect the fan brush is used here. .Thanks Jane. You are always unique and a great instructor.

Oh wrong I see you are with the clouds getting some water on the brush and dabbing on the paper towel and using the water to blend the bottoms of the clouds right?
