Having trouble in Spain wasn’t what we'd planned for but you can only prepare so much, and sometimes things go wrong.
This time our problem brought an unforeseen delay in what should have been a short transit to Morocco!
Frustrating, annoying, avoidable, and costly... not a great start to 2023.

Thanks for documenting the diesel & water heater repair. Breakdowns are part of the truck travel life....Re stocking up on food. I thought food in Morocco costs less. Looking forward to watching your fMorocco trip!

Hi Yoly, Thank you & yeah it’s gonna happen. Most food in Morocco is cheaper but some things are difficult to get (or not at all) so we like to stock up on essentials giving us a few days in country to find our feet. Morocco is special, hopefully that'll come accross on the coming videos 😀

Great to catch up with you on the road again. A very long time to fix a diesel heater and I admire your patience (?), or did you have 'words' off camera? The only consolation would appear to have been good weather. I have been following your journey on Instagram so I am really looking forward to your future vlogs from Morocco. All the best.

Hi Peter, always good to hear from you, and thank you. Yeah it was a ridiculous journey (time wise), I think we've become relaxed about these things, I just accept these things are going to happen on the road, it’s about how you deal with it. That said, I think if we were in South America it'd be a different story 🤔. Absolutely loving being back in Morocco & hopefully some good content over the coming weeks/months. Cheers Phil & Izzy 👍

Great video! Life on the road does have its downside. We are about to service our diesel heater and replace the glow plug but ours is in a much more difficult spot to reach so we keep putting it off. Luckily we are in south africa right now so not urgent!!

Hi both, thank you. Yeah these things happen, thankfully we also have blown air heating so we weren’t cold & if we plug in we can heat our water but as you know, that’s not what it’s about. Good luck with the service & keep the images coming, we’re inspired 😃

We are in the same position as you this week. Wet diesel heater has died and we have been ringing around (with the help of our French speaking friend Vanessa) to get the part arranged and fitted next week. All booked in but was a gaff. The joys of truck life is always fun though

Hi both, lovely to hear from you. And yes, good term...faff. Wine - we bought Conde Noble cartooned wine, it comes in a bottle too but for the ease of packing & transit we thought we'd give it a go & at 1.20 Euro it’s very drinkable 😁 Take care both 🙏
