Had the intermittent left turn signal problem on my 2006 Silverado Crew Cab. Thought it was the turn signal assembly, but it ended up being the flasher relay. The relay costs less than $70 at any auto parts store, and I could have upgraded to the $87 relay that works with both standard bulbs and LEDs. You cannot run LED's without the upgraded relay, FYI. I found a 2005 Yukon in the local u-pull it scrap yard and fixed my truck for less than $10.

What was the symptoms on ur truck? Would you turn ur hazard and only the right one would turn on ? And would you pop fuses having a issue rn any help would be appreciated

I have a 2016 silverado, my fuse box is complete different than this video. For this of you with these symptoms I’m going to post, check fuse for BCM (4,5,6&7). Symptom(s) 1. Turn signal not working 2. Interior dome lamp doesn’t come on when opening the door 3. Able to shift gears without pressing brake

I've run into this problem a couple of times and it's not the rats chewing the wires (although I've seen that a lot) it's rat piss. Rats pee everywhere they go as they mark their territory and rat urine is a good conductor of electricity. A lot of the time just wiggling the wire fixes it by reseating the contacts in the electrical system. The pee causes an increase in resistance or allows electricity to leak between adjacent wires at the connectors. The trucks computer correctly sees this as a short and sets off the rapid flashing as a fault indicator. So what Gabriel AT is doing, cleaning the electrical connections, is the solution. For some reason I've only seen it on Chevrolet vehicles but somewhere I read that for a few years Chevy used a soy based insulation on their wiring as it was "greener" and better for the environment.
