2nd one worked .....1 advice for everyone when ever performing 2nd trick you must have your pen drive / any usb connected

My problem is similar, but different i ran chkdsk, it unmounted my hard drive, and didn't remount..i manually mounted my drive, but couldn't access it, i when in and reset the permissions, i can use the drive, but half of my files are hidden... everything shows they are still there, the same amount of used space, but it's all invisible i have show hidden files on the drive.. but some folders aren't showing, and the ones showing the folder icon, are blank...but the files are still there the irony, it's a disk with my recovery software lol

Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to shut down and then turn on after a min.

@@EasyTechGeek I tried it it wasn't working So I tried powering it down by using my cooling pad and othe utilities and then started it and it worked But still thanks for replying man you are the best 😊

@@EasyTechGeek in my case i used my pendrive to install a os, after installing the os, i formatted the pendrive using cmd disk part command, after that pen drive sudeenly stopped appearing, i have checked my pendrive with other computers. what to do?
