when you are calibrating the X-axis in mm unit and you are writing a value 5 mm, At right down corner there is a setting from where you can select the units mm or inches.these probably should be set for mm when you are thinking you are calibrating your axes in mm.

Great video, it is very helpful. I got a problem with a cnc... it moves motors in manual mode, I mean arrows and jog, but do not move motors in line comand or leasing a code, the Motors vibrates but no movement.

Thanks for the video. I have some weird experiences with mach3. I lod gcode file object does not appear on the mach3 monitor on the right but the gcode sequence is visible on the left. I start cycle the spindle starts and lowering to start carving but only drilling until gcode sequence completed. I dont know what to do

all the sudden mach 3 wont follow the jog of my hand held controller so I cant set zero to start a job

Are the soft limits for when running g code? When I manually jog the machine I can run past the limits and grind gears still.

I think you're videos are great and very informative. I have one minor point. You always talk about parallel port configuration but I don't believe most Windows 10 machines are running parallel ports. I am hooked up to my controller with a USB and I know if I try and say automatically determine pin configuration I give an error message saying it only works for systems with a parallel port. Maybe I am confused but I haven't heard anybody talk about courts and pins with reference to USB ports. Thanks for your help

i have got a new usb breakout board and have everything moving. my problem is that even though the A Axis is slaved to Y Axis they move seperately Y as normal with the Arrow keys - A moves with the (end and home) keys my old breakout board never had this problem and i have no Idea where to start to rectify this issue i had to get a new laptop and it is running Windows 10 old one was on win7.

why When I turn Of the Max Cl, my motor don't move, my motor output is correct? But when I tunf on Mx Cl my motor can move? Is that a problem?

Bought 64 Bit Windows 10 Pro Desktop computer to replace my broken old Windows 7 32 bit computer that came with the router. . Downloaded Mach3 Demo to it. Have the ***EZSync USB to RS232 (DB25 Male) CNC Programming Cable, CNC Controls Programming(Fanuc, Yasnac, Sinumerik, etc), FTDI Chipset, 1.5 Meter, EZSync014C*** Plugged everything in and turned on the power to the Router. Response is jerky jerky east west movement slowly east across the X-Axis. Grinding sound. Mach Demo software does nothing to stop or reset. E Stop does not shut it down....Only powers switch shut down stops it. Any ideas?

Hi. We have tried everything and can't get Mach3 to move motors or anything. I have watched several Videos tried settings nothing works on my Chinese 6040z and SXCNC controller. Mach3 works on laptop but nothing work or moves. It came with a Parallel to USB cable. It talks to laptop but nothing happens.
