I love trout fishing in these tiny streams. They can be both challenging, and very rewarding.
These micro streams often have excellent trout fishing, but casting can be difficult and so can bush bashing your way up the stream.
In this video the trout were super switched on and I was casting well, which all led to some excellent trout fishing.

👍 The other day caught a 49 cm cod on a long-shank hook with chicken and a big fat 63 cm carp on corn which nearly pulled my rod in while reeling in the cod in a double hookup at Seymour off the bank. I also caught a tiny trout cod this afternoon, which pleased me to see trout cod spawning evidence, which was also on chicken.

Conductors' gestures are the primary method to communicate tempo, dynamics and other musical ideas, and that little stick - called a baton - is used to enhance those movements. Meanwhile, Robbie’s Fishing is the primary method to catch trout, create entertainment, and showcase what a true master he is at casting in close quarters situations. His Okuma is used to enhance all these things! Nice video, Robbie. Amongst my favourite genres of your uploads 😊

With trout the days range and I've contemplated this. On days the fish are feeding heavy I look for patterns or influences that might be having an affect on the trout. Weather, maybe moon phase. The one most bewildering to me I simply call fish stuff. No other notable reasons for it but the fish are feeding heavily for no apparent reason. To me that's "fish stuff" and only the trout are privy to those reasons. Good video, nice stream you were in today.
