not just a Tennessee fishing license, but you'll need the Trout stamp or license

Fishing by the mill is chained off and says no trespassing. Patriot Park is open for fishing though.

yea cause everyone following his advice and fishing increased that area dramatically. They have had a mass influx since this video was posted. I work at The Mill btw.

Awesome video guys!!! Just getting into trout fishing. Haven't had much luck yet, but I don't think we've hit the right areas yet. Went back to your videos, and found this one which just so happens to be right up the road from where we're staying. Do you think this would be a good place still in late October? Dane, We don't use a specific float, from a specific brand. Every angler we fish with brings their own. All floats will be effective, if rigged properly.

Totally legal. This isn't inside the park where bait is prohibit.

I just went there, This exact spot, same bait, fireballs, with size 10 hook with same bobber. No rainbows at all. No idea what i was doing wrong. The weekend of September 25th. Fished the hell out of it in morning til 1 or 2 pm. It had rained the 2 days prior. Didn't try in evening. Maybe that was problem. Idk.

Brandon, This was filmed in June - the river isn't stocked after June until again in the fall. There might not be any fish left.

Brandon - this section is a put-and-take. Many of the fish are caught and kept within a few days of being stocked. By early July (at least in this section) the number of stocked trout dwindles.

@@brandonkitching7830 also this part of the river gets too warm in the summer for them to survive. Go up the spur into gatlinburg(even further the better) and you’ll be good

Jon, We checked with TWRA. They do not own the water. You are welcome to wade to the high water line.

They stock it every Thursday , but you Can’t fish then, you can only fish certain days
