Troy is speaking facts and i'm a villa fan. I love seeing Birmingham teams in the prem it's the best for the league nut troy is right they need the best coach and the best players for that coach and they should be there or there's about.

From the outside it looks like Birmingham are stuck in a permanent Groundhog Day: make decent enough start,subside,trundle along through the rest of the season doing just enough to stay out of the relegation zone. Iknow it's probably not as simple as that given the recent changes in management and playing approcahes. They've always tended to have teams that are pretty solid at the back but often can't score enough goals.

@@BIGDWFCYes,the win at Birmingham probably averts a scenario like the 2005 or 2010 run-ins being repeated,but I know what you mean. I wish Tom Cleverley the best of luck in his first step into management.

At Birmingham there’s a mindset of mediocrity, it’s been there ever since we got relegated from the Premier League, that losing mentality is hard to shake off, even though we have new owners that same streak of losing is there in plain sight, we will go down this season, it’s been coming for ages and we haven’t heeded the warnings.

Sunderland seem to have had a bad loss of form at the moment,but this division is so close that,as Troy said,several results one way or the other back-to-back can change the whole outlook of your season.

Birmingham is a well-run club with new owners you know sometimes you have to take a step back to go forward the owners they have now are not messing about they are series. For instance, a new 60k stadium on the way TV coverage around the world spending money in the right places is what gets you more money and intern the money you need to spend on players.

@@JustMyFish yet they've gone from challenging the playoffs at the start of the season under John Eustace who they unfairly sacked to battling to stay in the Championship after the rooney experiment. They get relegated, all those things you mentioned aren't going to happen.

"In the 30-second video clip, Deeney and Brennan could be seen kicking out at the "defenceless" students, one of whom received repeated blows to the head as he lay injured on the ground". Sounds like more than a "punch" to me...
