We travel to American Samoa with former Steelers Safety, Troy Polamalu, to learn about life on the island - an American territory over 5000 miles from the mainland that has become a hotbed for football talent.

Western Samoa doesn't get any right?
@jordikeoni5 жыл бұрын
@@on2wheels378, Samoa (formerly Western Samoa) is an independent country/sovereign nation while American Samoa is a U.S. territory, and its residents are U.S. nationals. And since we're talking about the NFL, an American sports association, it's all about respect to American Samoa. Cheee huuu!
@on2wheels3785 жыл бұрын
@@jordikeoni So I guess my original comment was appropriate... I grew up in Long Beach California, right next to Carson and Compton California where there were at least 5000 SAMOANS in the three cities combined... They didn't see any distinctions because they were all Samoans. Western or US...

For years i lived In a Samoan part of town, I will now tell you my observations..... Great people, Phenominal food! No Samoan owns a prius lol Only Suburbans, Tahoe, Yukon, escalades... And this statement is more common than not. I have 12 brothers and sisters... And alot of times if they are bringing the whole family.... 2 or 3 SUVs will be needed with 3rd rows. But i have never met a more brave and honest people yet.

Hi Troy...I met your sis the dentist during my extended stay in American Samoa. It is time that you and I bring positive change to all the wonderful people of Samoa. Over the last 5 years we have put together a portfolio of technologies such as cheaper electrical costs....rain water harvesting....green houses for year round vegetable growing... shipping containers converted to beautiful low cost homes, and so much more. We must not forget about the people! Please contact myself and Ruepena Tagaloa to bring change! With your help Troy you can do what LeBron James did for Cleveland and Akron for all of Samoa. Let's do the right thing!

Damu Bernard , hard to find charity at Times bc the far left wants the government to do it all, and they do it poorly like they ruin everything they touch. It is churches and conservatives who give the most to charity, and as the media and country are forcefully manipulated and pushed farther and farther left, just look at the nutters that are leaders of the corrupt democrat party, and you can see how socially people give less and less, and once America and Americans were the most charitable people in the world.
