This promise of two max contracts from 2 years ago, became one max contract and a trade for a one year stint and possibly another max contract next year. Pelinka needs to go, we need Jerry back, who was working for the Warriors, then who is now working for the Clippers, wow this back fired for us, there were other players and we waited for one, getting Lebron was a mistake, we should've gotten PG and Boogie when we had the chance.

Frankly a good move, solid role player that fits in nicely with the lakers. plays D and will stretch the floor for Bron and AD. There arent really any superstars left for them to sign and they need to deepen their bench. Signing role players to short contracts is the way to go rn for the lakers.

If i'm kawhi i would've done the same. Why join the lakers knowing that someone will shadow me and be on a team that has already made a lot significant mark in history while I could be joining the clippers knowing that I could be a franchise player, have proven teammates that almost eliminated the warriors, a great coach and could potentially be the first player to bring that team a chip while being in the great city of LA. His decision created a whole interesting season for the nba
