twenty one blue neighbøurhoods well, we definitely don't know that. He never dated Tyler.. so we don't know who his first love was, people think it's Connor but this wouldn't be about him because that all started up in 2015. I think this song is less about about a personal experience but maybe just a story he made up or story about a friend of his went through. I think he doesn't like it for how it sounds or for the lyrics maybe in his head they're weak. None of us know but that's what I'd assume.

The colours blue is represents sadness and melancholy. I relate to troye on personal levels. He uses the word blue alot. And he was once talking about one of his newest songs, and he said that he wanted to write a song that wasn't melancholic. I think whatsoever that he has a strong connection to his sad feelings. I'm not saying that he is depressed, but melancholy is beautiful after all. No mater how painful. And this is what I've learned from personal experience

Blue is always used to describe more mellow feelings, sadness or sometimes calmness. being blue is used to describe being sad. In terms of visuals, blue truly is the color of Troye's more mellow songs.

@@nadiah2792 It's a leaked track from either Troye's TRXYE or Blue Neighbourhood and his exact post on Twitter was "omgggggg that song is the worst lol it's also like well over a year old 💀💀💀". He recorded it all and everything but ended up not releasing it because (it's speculated) it was too personal. He probably didn't like the memories or emotions connected to it either.

I love this song but I kinda get why it wasn't included in to the album. The lyrics are nice but in a way it's maybe too personal... I love personal songs don't get me wrong but this just kinda feels/sounds like that he made this up in his head and wrote it down for himself, tried what it would sound like as recorded but then realized that he didn't want it to be included in the album because he had already moved pass the feelings he felt while writing this song... Idk.

This is probably an unpopular opinion but I don't think his songs are that specific and personal. I love his songs and I have been a fan since 2014 but there has never been that moment of vulnerability I associate with his songs. It has always felt like too much of a distance for me of what the songs are about

@@eitmrnbiwbo he has stated on multiple occasions that he doesn't write to create hit songs or anything, he writes to communicate to listeners on a deep, emotional, and intimate level. all of his songs mean something, but it makes sense that that might be harder to see if you haven't had experiences that align with his!!

@@evwie i think what they meant is that his lyrics don't carry that much uniqueness, not enough for you to realize how personal it is. not to be a crass critic, I love his songs, really, I just feel like his lyrics can be cliche and mediocre. but his writing skills have improved now, this song was released when his music career began to blossom so it's not a big deal.

tbh I honestly feel like this song is about him breaking up with connor.. based on con's breakup chapter in note to self, it being their first relationship with a guy, like it all makes sense and wow it's heartbreaking but then it doesn't make sense because this was released in TRXYE while tronnor broke up on feb 13 2016 I think and TRXYE was released august 15 2014
