As a Bosnian I love Somalis because we were bleeding together in the 90s and even though I have heard Somaliland before, I thought that was just a funny way to call Somalia. I'm so sad to find out that Somaliland is autonomous region that wants to divide from actual Somalia because division is never a good thing, it just weakness and promotes local opportunist to rule and not to prosper. You guys are one and the same people. I'm genuinely very sad to find out about the split and very surprised that I have never heard of this before. Italian and British rule was there to divide and Somalis are actually going for it. I don't care what the history behind all of it is, I just know that it weakness a country a nation. With all my heart I wish you all the best and insaAllah you will rise above it. Lots of love to one of my most favorite people in the world and salam from Bosnia.

It is an insult to our country and prestige of our people when foreign media talk about Somalia siding with or aligning with particular Arab nation such as Qatar or UAE. It then does the same to Somalia but it stays neutral as Turkey is also an aid. Same in Djibouti, but they kick out UAE due to dispute over port. Somalia follows, & turns on UAE. UAE starts bribing Somaliland & Ethiopia for use of Berber Port. Mogadishu states this is illegal. Somaliland/Ethiopia comply. UAE bring hidden money & weapons into Somalia through Puntland. Was UAE funding Al Shabab or another rebel group? Cooperation is the key, we in the horn need to be strong. I think Mogadishu actually stopped a proxy war. UAE is now occupying a Yemeni Island off the coast of Somalia & using it as a military base. This could of been Somalia. Kudos my ppl👏🏾👏🏾
