Thank you. Yes it needs a sale. Funnily enough I bought The Bus some months ago but found it clunky on the controls (I prefer gamepad) and not great on knowing what to do ie the ticket machine etc. Has It Improved?

@@beetlnees Hmmmm… tricky to say as I’ve only had it a couple of weeks. I was encouraged by videos from folks like Joe Dobson, who say it’s improved a lot. I didn’t buy it initially because I’d heard that it wasn’t just early access, but EARLY access and with more niggles than would have been fun for me. I don’t mind taking part in an early access program, where I help the development by reporting issues. But for me the incentive for that would have been a really cheap buy in, like in the old days, before “early access” became a term used for most released titles. (Yup. Grouchy Boomer and proud.) So via third party reports, I’m thinking it probably has improved some since you last tried it. But that said, I can’t see it being great with a controller. Never tried though, so don’t quote me. :) The ticket machine?….. I “think” they’ve recently implemented a newer version… but I might be talking rubbish, so take that with a pinch of salt. I can tell you though, that I worked it out first time out of the box with no hints needed and I’m dumber than a bag of spanners. The only hint I needed was that sometimes a passenger asks for a printed receipt. It turned out to only be two more button presses, but on my own I couldn’t figure it out. Overall I was really impressed. The whole 1-1 scale of Berlin goes right up my flag pole and somehow the experience feels realistic to me in a way that the Bus Sim series lacks. Don’t ask me to put my finger on that though. :) Also, I don’t know how stable you last found it. I’ve had a few little niggles so far (as you’d expect of course) and three frustrating CtD’s. But when she runs good, it’s smoother than a cashmere codpiece. On my pc anyway. :) Badger (Phil)

Ha ha like your style. What a dissertation. You can write my scripts 😂. I'll take another look early in the new year. I'd every intention of revisiting it to see if it's improved. Joe Dobson is someone I follow. Similar channel I suppose but he's got a massive head start as I (don't quote me) think he's a real life bus driver. I agree with your opinion on early access and also sometimes games never seem to be fully finalised and published. I have games that's been early access for years 😂. Thanks for subscribing btw 👍
