Truck cab undercoating

undercoat cab with sem rock-it-liner sand to 220 and put down three coats ,bottom of this cab is done i,ll let dry for a week while im block sanding the roof and do some priming

Neat trick with the nail/screw tacked in place to hold your patch. I'll have to remember that one for sure.

I was just looking at it two days ago while looking at my wiring route for my blue 63 it’s still holding up great yes I would epoxy before applying

Dumb question, if you don’t mind? Why not use an epoxy sealer before the undercoating? I would think that would be a “Just in case” the undercoating chipped. Thanks!

William Barnebee there were two coats of epoxy sprayed just before the undercoating

After media blasting, are you or someone else spraying epoxy?

I had the cab and all the body panels media blasted, the same guy also sprayed the epoxy to keep it from rusting, then I sanded down and did the body work from that point
