I have built a few race motors and this is beyond me. Not a torque wrench in sight, no torque sequencing, bouncing the cam all over the block, and my butt puckered the whole time just waiting for a gust of wind to come through and coat everything in sandy dust 😆. Granted tolerances are much higher for race engines but still. Gotta give it to them tho. I've seen them fix shit in a few hours that would take me a week lol 😆

I got full recon isuzu 6hh1 exchange motor, includes rebuilt pump,new sensors etc. here in Australia, only 1 year warranty. Cost $24000 aud. Had to put my accessories on it.

The most well done assembling I’ve ever watched of these shops there. Nice clean shop and mechanics look like they are proud of their work. Clean clothing versus some of the other shops. Although I don’t think I ever saw them using a torque wrench? Most every bolt on this engine has torque specs. It was designed that way.

Great video, but at the end was it misfiring?. Could be the speed of the audio, unless one of the injectors needed bleeding, but to me it wasn’t firing on all 6 cylinders

Atleast the Con rod bolts and main bearing bolts should have been torque tightened including the cylinder head and camshaft bolts.Nice overhauling though

The way these guys started off with air impact wrenches instead of the usual L-handle socket wrench, I thought they were pretty uptown and we would finally get to see a torque wrench in use. But not to be.
