Hey guys, I'm Robert and I'm a finance & real estate professional. I got hired at one of the nations top financial advisory firms in February 2020 only to turn it down in the midst of the pandemic and fell into being a Trucker as a hedge for my real estate career. I actually ended up loving it and discovered that it is one of the fastest vehicle for success! Now I'm on a mission to prove the American dream is alive and well while doing one of the most blue collar jobs in the country. This is my journey and I hope it inspires you to think differently about what is possible for you.

Sleeping bags saved my ass the first year using it as a blanket or when it was extra cold and I needed the extra warmth.

Did you know every time you fuel up the truck you get points that you can use later to buy things inside the truck stops? I didn’t pay for my gps, headset, phone mount and gloves with my own money, I just use points!

I was so anti headset for my first 6 months until I finally caved and got one. Not having to constantly repeat myself because my wife can't hear me over the trucks bluetooth was well worth how goofy I look 😅

Great info man I've been looking for videos like these. Idk how I haven't found your channel sooner but I've subscribed and have been watching all your videos catching up. Do fed ex trucks come with gps’s and cb radios?

Unfortunately no. I’m sure that there may be a handful of contractors that do provide a GPS. But I just use the GPS and mapping apps on my phone. And I have had no trouble.

Does anybody know what brand and model of headset that is? I tried to click in the link and it just says sorry Paige not found I’m getting ready to start my journey on this career and I agree the headset is needed but I don’t want to spend a couple hundred dollars on a headset lol.

I don’t know off the top of my mind, but they are some random Chinese brand I think. But it’s pretty good quality. I’ve had them since I started 8 months ago and they still work like new. If you click the link for them in the bio, it will tell you what brand they are.

I picked up the headset you recommended and it was a steal for sure. Literally just as you described, nobody even can tell I’m operating a truck. The sound even listening to music is solid especially for the price.

@@milomaalona969 None, that's all you need. but if you're going to get your endorsements you may as well get them all. It costs the same to get 1 or all 3. Watch my video "CDL Permit Test Hack" and I tell you how you can get your endorsements in 1 day, Like I did.

Couldn't make any money in real estate so you're reduced to punching gears. If you're grossing $1050 and as you stated you drive 5x11 then your barely making 20 bucks and hour probably no benefits or meal allowances and spending money out of your own pocket on work related items Not a very impressive set of economics .Not to mention 2 employers . Your contractor and Fed ex Ground because officially you're on the contractors payroll but you're still subject to the same policies and disciplines Fedex's own employees are subjected to.
